okay so i understand there putting starcraft into a trilogy (bullshit) but like say i were to get the terran campaign would i still be able to play as the protoss and zerg on like multiplayer or will i ONLY be able to play as terran no matter what i do? please answer this i am very confused

Yes, all races are availible in multi. They just want to split it up to make the story longer, which I like since I liked single more than multi (I'm bad at multi). So we get 30 single player missions for each race and all 3 in multi.

You will be able to play as every race on multiplayer. The Trilogy was decided because the work involved in a single campaign for one race already took 3 years. They didn't want to release the game in 2015.

Its unfortunate that 95% of custom maps on wc3 bnet are dota. I really hope theres at least some original diversity in custom maps for sc2. Also, I don't think 'SC dota' would replace 'wc3 dota' anyways. dota is tied a lot into warcraft units and wouldn't make any sense with starcraft ability animations.

Even in the wc3 editor there is way more potential than what dota is, I just wish some of the maps caught on better to most players.

At the end of the day it all boils down to a calm mindset with planning and knowing what your enemy will do before he does it by examining what he does.
