  • deadhead.

  • I wouldn't call that "CDOT paint"....maybe Connecticut Commuter Rail decals and some silver krylon.

  • indeed!

  • Great Video

  • why did he blow the horn.

  • To let people know that there was a train coming. On Metro-North, that the rule. I wish the same thing for the LIRR.

  • Yah Dude Sle Is Always Blowing at Stamford and Besides it's The Last Stop Then It On It's Way Back To Old Saybrook

  • last stop has nothing to do with horn, as 538 said, its SOP on MN to sound horn when entering a station area, especially between 6a-9p, or if the platform is visibly seen to be occupied.........

  • Wow, this is the first time I've seen CDOT's P40s in CDOT paint.

  • as FL9AC said, not really a paint scheme - but these are the ones Gov Rell had CDOT buy. These engines were previously leased, but now apparently they are purchasing a few of them.......

  • Well I understand the paint scheme in whole is still kind of Amtrak's, but from seeing this I get the idea that they will be repainted to the standard New Haven colors CDOT typically uses.
