This episode inspired me to do a "best of" series for MST on my channel. It basically just showed the best jokes of three episodes cut down to 10 min.
It was called [deep hurting]. I loved the way the mads said those two words. They just stuck with me. Yeah it was a lazy way to post vids but it was fun.
I was on my third episode when youtube said fuck your couch and took em all offline...oh well...leave the vids to the professionals.
I had been looking for this episode. I remember it from when I first saw it as a kid. I especially remember the part about the sand storm and Joel actually losing it. I loved when they pointed out how Joel's stuck on the SOL, or dealing with the isolation of being in space.
I watched the other Herc movies thinking I'd already seen this one. Finally, here I am.
Joke has passed the yellow marker and is cleared for landing on runway 32.

@pretorious700 LOL, I did not remember "Clarence" at all, but Rutherford, yeah, now that you say it. (They called him "Lumpy Rutherford" a fair amount.)

Pretty sure that everything we see on the SoL is filmed by Cambot. So, yeah, he's in the theater and the sequence with the doors is him entering/leaving the theater.
@alexiaNBC Say what they will, as bad as Sand Storm is, it's NOT worse than Rock Climbing. The sand storm scene lasts maybe 10 minutes, but 2 thirds of LOST CONTINENT was pointless rock climbing!
@GoblinXXX Yes, but they were also wearing PANTS in Lost Continent. The Deep Hurting is not the Sandstorm itself, but the silent implication of where all that sand is getting lodged....
@KingSnarf And thank GOD they were wearing pants in LOST CONTINENT, with all those shots from below! The last think anyone wants are endless buffalo shots of Sid Melton and Hugh Beaumont!
