  • I think Rachel is a lovely girl, I also think her game is a really good idea. I really like the show but in this instance they were totally horrible to her, o.k be consructive in your criticisms about the board game and about Gross Net Profits etc but don't expect everyone too have a Business Degree. I know the Dragons are investing their own money and have to be carefull doing so, but I really felt for her when she walked away, really I did

  • Rachel Lowe-Cut Top

  • 8:38 Im au as well? Hey dude, It´s called OUT!!

  • Yes, this game turned out to be successful. But this shows why they didn't invest in her, poor presentation for one and two, games are almost always a failure. Good for Rachel, she proved everyone wrong!

  • MY FOOT - Destination - Doug Richards ASS!

  • That American Dragon was so lame, I think he didn't invest once, cheap asshole!

  • The game is pretty successful, she really did expand and make 17 other cities, and i heard they were suppose to make a harry potter version as well. Destination Hogwarts or something. Crazy how far some people get with there ideass

  • she was too cute to be working with Rachel, all the attention would be at her...

  • Did Theo Paphitus hire people to kidnap Simon Woodroffe at some point? Because that would explain why I've never seen Simon before.

  • Doug richards, you are a complete d1ck. That is all

  • Rachel did very well & got an MBE! In 2009 it went into administration unfortunately. But this is proof that just because investors don`t back you, you can still go on and achieve great things!

  • simon wodruf - did that bellend invest in anything?

  • she drove me home from Joannas in Pompey when i was in the navy!!

    and she sucked my cock!!!

  • @bigderekkeene Luck you! hahaha

  • @bigderekkeene I smell BULLSH1T! You are a liar, sir.

  • @MrTrentiusMaximus LOL! normally if i'd read such a post onn youtube I'd agree with you, but im actually telling the truth on this one! :-D

  • The Dragon asking about the figures (Doug Richards) is a total dick.

  • can anyone explain what is going with the patch of hair at 12 oclock on Duncan's head? Its kinda crazy... I'm out.

  • Whilst this is edited to create a certain impression, this game IMHO, is a winner. Perhaps they're not as vicious as they appear but the world really is ready for a serious competitor to 'Monopoly' and this may well be it. It saddens me that people like Duncan aren't more supportive of her. If Peter Jones had backed her, I'd have choked on my own saliva. What a bunch of patronising shits.

  • she outsold monopoly in the uk and these idots rejected her

  • @nomnomcheese Wow, great stuff.

  • I've seen this board game being sold online and in a few stores. Guess the games pretty successful now. If only the Dragon's could see the future...

  • RTR?

Reaction to enemy fire, Take cover, Return fire?

  • @Slapbass13 RTL

  • LOL she's smoking hot, I'd be more than happy to invest 100% of my cock in her for zero percent equity haha

  • @noname47000 hahahahahahaha

  • That American guys a right protentious patronising twat, good they dropped him from the show lol

  • Rachel Elnaugh sitting there thinking 'Fuckinell, wish someone would lend me a few quid.'

  • Funny in the end. Even though they slated her because of her competition she outsold every other board game including monopoly. fell on a bit of bad luck with the Harry Potter game but now she's involved in a venture with a former dragon so she's still doing ok. If not for the HP disaster she might be absolutely sailing now

  • Perhaps everyone should start in business like Duncan, selling heroin to children from ice-cream vans.

  • @sofalover he has done a lot more than you could ever do.stop being so bitter and do something with your life!!!

  • jokes on these guys lol

  • She needs to give up this boardgame business and do porn

  • I would play this.

  • Doug Richard always tries to look smart- here he's just an idiot, telling her she's not worth investing in because she's nervous and doesnt know her numbers. Now her game became successful and he looks like a fool, I wouldnt trust him to run a lemonade stand.

  • She may not pitch well but she was very attractive and had amazingly sexy eyes.

  • Did Simon ever invest in anything? ever?

  • That's a stupid reason to peg someone, because they don't know the difference between net and gross profit. I'm sure she knows it. Just because she got confused of the difference doesn't mean she doesn't understand the mechanics of the business.

  • Destination London was Hamleys' best-selling game when it was launched in 2004, outselling Monopoly and continues to be a best seller

  • I bought that game years ago! Had no idea of it's origins! It's a great game!

  • Doug Richard is a horrible, arrogant little prick, glad he got his arse kicked out of the programme.

  • @TheOptimod that's true, but it's good to have people like him. He provided Rachel all the mistakes she has made so that she can learn and prevent it later on in life.

  • @TheOptimod He looks a liitle like John Malkovich. Similar creepy personality too.

  • Wow, bitch got gang banged...

  • funny thing is that this is a successful game now

  • @stakk67

Um, yeah - but the company itself has been put into administration. Bankruptcy.

The Dragons never said the game was a bad idea, they just said it wasn't a good investment --the company going bankrupt proved them right.

  • @stakk67 Well, her company went bankrupt in 2009 or so. She lost her house, her car and everything she had been working to achieve.

What happened was that her bank went bust and her license for a harry potter version of the game was rendered useless when the movie was postponed six months.

Today things are better; she is working on new projects with the dragon Simon Dolan.

Search for destination (game) on wikipedia and look at the third reference (from BBC news) for more information.

  • @stakk67 i suppose you havent got the memo that her company is in liquidation. But you are right, she did go on to be succesful. She got the right exposure

  • @stakk67 Yea I searched it up on wiki. Don't know how accurate this page is, but it is pretty ironic.

  • @stakk67 isnt it bankrupt now

  • @stakk67 Due to funding falling through RTL Games has gone into administration and the games are no longer made.

  • @stakk67 A game can be successful without being profitable. I think it looks great, but games are very difficult to market because they generally have a very narrow focus. Destination London seems like it would fit well in a tourist shop, or in a place like the Learning Express in the US, but I've never seen it in any major toy shops or in any of the temporary kiosks at the malls. That alone is saying something.

  • i feel so sorry for her :(

  • I remember playing a board game with my brother in the 70s. It was called Cabbie and had a v approximate map of London as the board design. The figures were different coloured London taxis and the object to make as much money in a specific time period as possible. What was so original about this new version?

  • shes quite hot, yum yum

  • @takewhole You must have REEEEAAAALLLLYYY low standards! XD

  • @RighteousPsycho i definately would

  • @RighteousPsycho, I must have low standards too, I think she's pretty and she's got a great figure! That aside, I've got to say, I felt a bit sorry for her watching this, as has been said below, she sold a lot of this product but didn't have the experience to make the business work. It's a cut-throat world and you can see by her reaction to the rejection that she took it all very personally. Poor lass.

  • @takewhole r u blind ?

  • @TheLansoprazole personal preference i suppose, tanned skin duz it for me

  • fuck this woman is broke

  • Comment removed

  • ive got that game

  • Shes bankrupt owing half a million + personally.

This is the facts to all those saying how amazing it is

  • @gnark1ll1us to be fair, the game did brilliantly (outselling monopoly in hamley's in its first year), and she herself did well to get big deals for her board game with pixar and Warner Bros. unfortunately mismanagement of the company led to overspending and it is now in administration, which probably would not have happened had a dragon invested, showing that sometimes we underestimate how important it is to have an experienced business partner at the table...

  • shes a millionaire now and even has her own wiki page....

  • That other Dragon the woman, she got done for fraud. She's in prison now.

  • @KingsWorld2010 Omg lol!

  • WTF!! she is in wikipedia now!!!! her game even beats monopoly.

  • DESTINATION ROME!!!! anyone? come on!! ah fuck you guys

  • the game was sucessful but then the company she was in went bankrupt so its no longer made

  • she doesnt look english does she

  • @MyTarkin but she has an english accent so i guess she was born there.

  • @MyTarkin Honestly, i think it's quite disgusting that you have to comment on the fact she doesn't look English.. how much of a repulsive and ignorant human being must you be? Does it really matter whether or not she is English, she's not causing any harm and has made a buisness for herself.. which is probably more than you have achieved with that sort of racist attitude. I bet your parents are proud of you.

  • @MyTarkin

There's more than one type of english person don't you know....

More to the point, she doesn't look like an ex-cabby....

  • rach had the last laugh, she now is making money, and i'd so love to buy her game :)

  • good on rachel! Bet they are pissed off they missed out investing in her

  • lol, new york isnt a capital

  • tbh, it looks like a ripoff monopoly.

  • ha, the board game ended up being a success and outselling monopoly.

  • why do people need to remember all the figures in their head?, I bet these dragons cant for their business's.

  • hahahahahaha she is soooo stupid... omg.. she should have got someone who knew her situation who could have spoken about all the business talks

  • this game is not her idea does she look like a cabbie to you.

i say is not her idea because in 1979 my dads friend sent this idea off to a board game makers and they knocked it back saying it wont succed.

he is investigating if the man he spoke to is linked with her.

what are the chances of her coming up with the excatly the smae idea.

  • well hello, actually, this was my own idea. I worked as a cab driver in portsmouth and everything in the game is from own experience as a cabbie. I've had about 15 other people all claiming to have had the same idea. By the way, I was 2 years olds in 1979. My idea was also rejected by all the big companies, which is why I set up my own company and did it myself.

  • well ur dads pals a retard then. this woman has showed all these smamy bastards and is now outselling monopoly

  • @furiousspazz Uhm her company went bankrupt. So who is the retard?

  • I dont care about a knock-off monopoly game. I just think she's brutally hot!

  • no she's a hag

  • i know a guy who fucked her and she loves to slap cock against her face and loves being corn holed.

  • I love the sound of this game. The concept. A game to make money. Oh, even to return `play` money can be constructive.

  • YOU CAN ASUME I KNOW WHO HAMLEYS IS

  • not suprised they didnt invest ballloon couldnt understand a simple question and remember a few projection figures, how she made it i dont no, game must b good

  • what do these so business people know?? all they are there for is to look baffled.Aparently this boardgame is a huge success. so who and wtf are these dragon people.Just shows you how much they actually know. They are successful in there own way but they arent simon cowl foir spotting talent.( dont quote me on that)

  • They make hundreds of successful business deals, trading millions more than you'll ever see. Hindsight is 20/20 .

  • Then quite simply they make themselves look like fools on this programme and yes they may earn the money ..so do footballers but most of them are thickos.. NUF SED):O)

  • Actually you're totally wrong, very few people would agree with you, and you have no qualifications for making any statement on any investor.

    "NUF SED}:O)

  • You have just made two asumptions. And you are commenting on the wrong video of dragons den..this woman made a success so the dragons failed.... NUF SED ;O) ..oh and try not to use my words(Nuf sed :o)) its not good business.lmao

  • you dont expect dragons to instantly spot a mega opportunity. Most times they can spot a good business to invest in and sometimes they can suss out a crap one. all the dragons are 'multi-millionaires' which count for something - they have valuable advice. So if you were there, and it looked like she didnt know the answers - would you invest? no is the answer. It was the pitch that failed her

if the dragons had a magic ball to see in the future, then maybe then would invest

  • footballers and professional investors are different. your just comparing a teacher to a darts player

  • It;s not a question of what they know - if every potential investment had "Hey, I'm a sure-fire winner" written over it - investors would be running to her. Sometimes you have to use your judgement - sometimes your are wrong - sometimes you are right. All these guys are right more often than they are wrong - which is why they are all successful entrepreneurs. What do they know? Enough to be multi-millionairres. This was one comparatively small fish that got away. Try to be as successful.

  • she a skeleton man

  • whos the guy at 2:45

  • Hellyeah she is fucking georgeous

  • Fit bird;i'd play it with her even if it was rubbish..That american bloke is totally cunt struck!
