@TheWatzitooya it depends on the driver. some people just want to impress the people with their money, buying an UFO car that is just to impress, a driver who cares less about being noticed would choose to buy a legend car with lot of history and character that retains it's original style and also a car that can be also used as an everyday car that makes life better without to worry for potholes and also coasts 100k $ less, ok it is still expensive but at least it has e better value for money.

@asvestomixZ Still, a Murcielago is a good car. You can't really criticize Lamborghini on making cars "just to impress." Big, scary, "UFO" cars are kind of what Lamborghini is known for.

And it's not like the drive quality on a Lamborghini is bad. They must be built well (judging by the price) and you can still have an awesome time in one. They're still prestigious cars.

I don't like Porsches because they all look the same, and none particularly good (with the exception of the Carrera GT).

@TheWatzitooya ofcourse Lamborghini are very nice cars i didn't want to judge their quality, but they really target a small amount of upstart people who want to impress with their very modern fancy car design that lambos offers.. It's not that i wouldnt drive them i would love to get in to one of them but i probably wouldnt buy one even if i had the money except if i had a car for everyday driving and use the lambo for some rare cases when i want to do some sport driving or impress girls

Either way, a 997 Turbo SHOULD always win this race, especially since we have no idea what kind of Murci it is other than a Cabrio.... which is to its own detriment of course.

@LuckyDT ... no problem ... the race was on one of the runways of my city`s airport... and i bereave they measure the time`s from tower-control because at every start there was a little time form the moment the cars got to the start-line to the moment took off and the times where communicated on walkie-talkies...i don`t know how they measure the times exactly because i was not paying attention to that but i can assure you it was not a stopwatch

This was no turbo s, but a simple 997 turbo MK1

@henteaandrei No no, you don't understand, in the Mk1 Porsche never made a turbo s, only a normal turbo.

The turbo s only exists in the 997 Mk2 facelift.

The car shown here is a simple 997 turbo Mk1

You'd have to get a CRAZY fast crazy production car like a Pagani Huayra, Lamborghini Aventador, or even more expensive cars like a Koenigsegg Agera R or Bugatti Veyron SS before you can beat the 911 Turbo S PDK. The only other production car under $200,000 that comes close in a drag race is the 2012 GT-R which does 11.07 1/4 mile, the 911 Turbo S PDK does 10.70 1/4 mile.
