we learned another one after this one and at the same time we stopped practicing this one and of course, in no time i forgot it. thanks for the video, its been a great help remembering it ¦3
foldedcrane, you are right. I'm one of his students! it's really awesome. He really is a nice guy. Also pretty funny. He works at World Martial Arts in Pheonix, Arizona.
Jinheng Li teaches and runs a martial arts store out of Phoenix or Tempe Arizona. He's a really nice guy. He was selling equipment at the Legends of Kung Fu Tournament in Dallas on Saturday and Sunday this past weekend.
yea on it's own i think it's good track for a rave or a wachowski bros fight scene or something but i just feel like it is to aggressive and actually becomes a disjunct for the entirety of the material presented, it reflects a hollywood wushu slam and bang idea of martial arts which isn't bad in and of itself but really doesn't seem to fit this particular piece which would seem to benefit from just a simple pipa solo or perhaps an erwu just my opinion feel free to disregard it, blessings
floppy joe just sits at home and plays dead or alive!!!! hahahah you are ignorant its not about whos better its about mastering it for yourself you should go do MMA or UFC cause you cant appreciate wushu, or maybe you were in the karate kid or surf ninjas?
So is this a beginner wushu form or does it just look not-so-contemporary because it's traditional instead.
I'd learn it for next year's international competition in Florida, but I found out this year that they don't take too kindly to traditional. The fact that we also have a video with this master doing rope dart also sways me.
Seems like he's putting a lot into making sure that the form is technically sound with 'crisp' postures? Though there's something about the rate at which he moves that doesn't seem right, probably just how long the pauses were between movements.
he is not used to do this from i believe since he learned it in china in his youth :-) but he belongs to the highest level of wushu players ;-) he does it also slow for learning purposes
I learned from Jinheng for almost 4 years. Great instructor but most of all a great person.
