those guys are amazing, they are increasing clay like crazy and they are doing the wrong thing...they expect profits from buying clay for however much they want then selling it back when price goes up...but the problem is no one will buy the clay because it is so expensive...but what i am doing is mining and selling clay now to earn their money which helps them with their plan but...oh well hopefully it works the way they want...im just glad i can earn 40k in 20 minutes lol

Yup. That's good money for you! The only reason I dumped my clay was because they're not very professional, I mean a rank was calling dump, when he was just using the wrong robot for auto-talking! So I couldn't 100% trust them, so I dumped..

Oh, and I forgot to mention that clay is intertwined with too many other items- soft clay, tele tabs- the more items an item is related to, the harder it is to bring up. That's why, for examply, no one has bought out ranarr- ranarr pots, clean ranarr, prayer pots- it would be impossible

In conclusion, nobody really makes money with merch clans- and even if you do make an EXTREMELY meager amount, you are causing stress to the Runescape population, making everyday items impossible to buy and sell. An innocent non mercher might not be able to train, because, all his armour is bought out! It's not fair to the general Runescape population, and it's not like anyone makes anything anyway. Sorry for publishing my novel on your channel ^^

That was only a review of first merch and clay, but it applys to ALL merch clans and items. Also, you said not to dump the item early- but if you don't dump early, you'll lose massive amounts of money- ppl dump halfway through now.

Last of all, you're best profit was 111k-which took tons of time and effort to make, and it wasn't even a good result.

4.) Even if something MIRACULOUS occurs and you buy 20k clay a day (remember a total of 50k clay is traded a day throughout runescape) AND it doubles despite the low price differential AND nobody dumps early, you almost make 200k profit (and that's after a month of it going up) so, if you somehow overcome the odds, which nobody does, you still make approximatly 2k a day.

3.) The ranks of ALL merch clans buy the item DAYS before everyone else. More is ranked in first merch, got the item 2 days before the general population. Thus, it's already bought out by the time common people get it. So it's almost impossible to buy the item, and by the time you do get it, it crashes and you lose money. A merched item takes roughly 2 minutes to crash, from skyrocketing to crashing. The probablility of selling in that time is 1 in 1 thousand.

1.) Clay isn't on the item list on ge database for item most commonly traded. Thus, less than 50k clay is traded per day. over a thousand ppl use first merch, do the math... even if by some RANDOM chance one person got all that 50k clay, and it went up 20 percent, AND it managed to sell, there'd be no profit.

2.) Clay has an EXTREMELY low price differential. What this means is it can't go up more than rougly 5 percent per day. It would take TWO MONTHS for clay to double, and the goal is 500gp

Ok here is my rant on merch clans, and first merch.

First of all, I got the new item early (clay) and told everyone in first merch (on more's acc, it's ranked) so we completely crashed first merch.

second of all, merch clans fail in general. first merch "generals" are lvl 70s with full granite and d long. the leader of first merch has 10m and is completely clueless. I mean, clay, really? my next comment contains reasons why clay and first merch are RETARDED

Simple Merch clans are a scam, only helps the owner which buys as much ores as he can before anyone... then lets everyone else buy it to make price go up... when sell people are on, he dumps! but keeps the clan name "gold ore 2k" so he gets to sell is easily then after he accounces dump... you make lot of profit scamming.. i might try.. llol

Well there are things you can do to avoid that.. Dump the product early, that way you pretty much are using the clan for personal benefit.. Which your doing anyways. Never Trust Anyone, atleast with money..

ya i like merchanting i also lend my bgs 50k an hour buy buying maple logs and fletching them into maple longbows (u) and ill sell those as junk ftw

The good thing about merchanting is that you can make alot of money, the bad thing is.. you can loose alot also. I suggest merchanting with a clan, because they have enough people to make the actual price go up, quickly. After you have merched with them a couple of times you should know what is merchable and know the basics. Good luck with making money merching, and thank you very much for the comment! :D
