These dogs get so much attention, half the people talking shit probably have dogs in the backyards right now alone that never get any attention at all unless they are giving them food and water.
Too many folks don't realize dogs love stuff like this. They love to have jobs to do and to succeed with it. They love the attention they get when they're training for these jobs and by the looks of these beautiful dogs the trainers are working the dogs a bunch.

@jakejekel542 These Dogs are Working Dogs. For Example here in South Africa Pitbulls were originally brought in to work on our farms protecting our Cattle and Crops from wild animals. As long as the weight pull is done in a controlled environment there is really no issue. These dogs are in excellent condition just look at them.

At these shows there are up to hundrads of dogs and there is hardly ever an altercation (most of the time its the game bred dogs that start stuff). They are a working breed they need to expel their energy some how. This is not an all the time thing, competitions are sometimes months a part from each other as most onces a month. If the dogs didn't want to do it they won't, not ever dog is a puller.
For the love of god, lay some carpet down on top of that wood. Its very unhealthy to make dogs pull on hard, unpadded surfaces. Other than that keep pulling.

@mhrreplicacarbon why hate man, atleast these guys use their dogs, unlike most wannabees that stand around trying to look "hard" with their pits. My cousin has a blue pit which he got just to be a family dog, but he is very atletic and isn't fat as you would say.
