  • he he. truly heartwarming.

  • Happy new year.

Interesting story. I've never been to the Netherlands myself, but I sure it's a great country.

  • I had a great time in the Netherlands a few years ago. It's pretty hazy, but I remember enjoying myself. :-)

    Great story, Chuck.

    Love rocks!

  • That was amazing. I don't know what else to say, I'm only 17 so not much in the way of life experience.

  • No need to say anything else...just live your life!

  • thanks for sharing this story. wonderful story teller!

My uncle & auntie live in the netherlands, they moved there over 15 yrs ago.

i followed my son here to sweden 6 years ago. all the best in 09', ben.

  • Interesting, I don't view myself as a good story teller at all. Best to you too!!!

  • wow, i didnt knowu were in the netherlands. thats where i wanna go.

why didnt u like it there? and what is the main language there?

  • You learn something new everyday! To state what I didn't like would take quite a few vids. The main language is Dutch, or Nederlands in Dutch.

  • wow! wonderful! that was a great video! huh. I can't believe that love can just come along like that! weird!!! sounds like a great life! Happy New Year! :)

  • Love sometimes comes when you least expect it...and mine is the frosting on the cake!

  • Very nice inspirational story Chuck ^^ Love over long distances can be draining, but I contest anyone who says it cannot work.

Though thank the Great Cthulu for the internet. There's no way I could ever afford phone calls to Australia o.o

  • I wish I had the internet at the time...it would have saved me thousands of dollars.

  • hey chuck, that's one of the best reasons to move out of the unity states that i've ever heard.

  • Love is a curious thing...powerful...and in my case was all consuming.

  • Very cool Chuck thanks for sharing!

  • Thanks!

  • Can you tell us how to pronounce the name of the city that you live in?

  • It's spelled Nijmegen but pronounced Nijmega...the "n" is dropped.

  • Awesome story!

  • Thanks!

  • What a fascinating story! I also wondered how you ended up there after seeing you were from Boston. I know it would be tough for me to leave New England, I love it here. The things we do for love... it sounds like the struggle was worth it for you though. :)

  • It was definitely worth it!...but I go back to Boston 2-3 times a year.

  • As a single person who's pretty much resigned himself to singledom, I have to say this was an inspiring story.

    Thanks for sharing, Chuck!

    :-)

  • Watch out Curt...singledom can end when you least expect it.
