  • like synth ;) I love it

  • people don't like this because it's not butt bluze. that's why I like it

  • cool drone. sounds direct (ie no amp)

  • this is among the coolest sounds I heard in my life, is strange that reminds me of silence. is superb, I keep hitting the reply button again and again .

  • @opidacul Thank you! I am so sorry I no longer have this fuzz. I am going to have to get it again. I love the sound of the silicon bc-108. Thanks for listening. I am glad you liked it.

  • nice noise, bro

  • @quilicimusic THANKS MAN!

  • @BL0FF Well, everyone has their own taste. Some people love it and some people hate it. Fuzz is not for everyone.

  • that sounds amazing. what amp are you using? have you ever tried the shin-ei companion fuzz or one of its clones? which would you recommend between the sunface and the shin-ei, i'd like to play around with mbv/psychocandy type sounds, and i know william reid used a shin-ei, but this sounds just as good and much easier to find.

  • Thank you!

I do know that Kevin Shields of MBV used a Fender Blender. I had a Homebrew Electronics UFO, which was a fuzz/octave, and it sounded a lot like MBV.

There are a lot of online stores that offer shin-ei clones, I'll have to check some of them out. I wish I knew more about them and then I could be more helpful. I can tell you that the A.M. BC-108 can give you that "wall of sound", and be very musical w/ rhythm playing too. I love this pedal. It's the best fuzz I've owned yet.

  • I hear anything..

  • Sounds like My Bloody Valentine!

  • Thanks! I love MBV!!!

I'm pretty sure Kevin Shields used a Fender Blender Fuzz, whick is extreme, over the top fuzz. With the Analogman BC-108 all the way up, it it pretty easy to get that sound, even though they have different transistors.

  • Do you think the NKT would do the same trick? Have you tried it?

  • Actually, I owned the Analogman NKT, but got rid of it. It had so very little fuzz and had a very muddy/dark sound. It just wasn't for me. It is a good pedal if you like a light/bluesy/classic sound, but not if you want a heavier rock type fuzz.

  • I've bought an NKT. Its sound depends a lot on the guitar you plug into it. With a P90-equipped guitar (high output) it's got quite a lot of fuzz.

With milder single coils (I also have a vintage Guild which has more standard single coils) it does not create much fuzz, but still sounds awesome. Depends on what you want to do.

I'd like to have the bucks to get a 108 or a Peppermint as well, though, to have this kind of warm superfuzz....

  • Man that sounds huge!

  • It's an amazing pedal!!!!!!!

    :)

  • @CirrusUncinus awesome wow sounds so good.. not

  • @timnwa You are entitled to your opinion.

  • whats the diffrence in the bc-108 and nkt 275?

  • transistor type...

bc106 is siliocn based adn NKT is germaniuj based

  • damn, that is fuzzy!

    :)

I'm thinking of getting this. You prefer it to the 275, yes?
