  • Aw! How frickin cute!

  • I love my OSAD Mastiff. One Stubborn Ass Dog, but they are awesome pups. They are all about loving there people.

  • AWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW

  • I have a 4yr old yorkie who is very smart, and because Harley .. my 5 month old mastiff is so jealous of him.. He try's to do everything that my yorkie has been trained to do... fetches my slippers and stuff like that... its awesome..

  • And this is why they're tied for #1 of my favorite breeds. Shared only with the Doberman.

  • freeze frame at 17 seconds. that may be the most photogenic kid i have ever seen

  • This is so adorable!

  • My mastiff was more trainable than our toy poodle, golden retriever, or our Staint Bernard. He is the smartest dog I have ever known. So far...anyway.

  • @812556: My 10 month old Mastiff is extremely easy to train, due to his eagerness to please. However, most tricks are beyond him (fetch, puzzles) but as far as behavioral control, there are few easier. When properly socialized, an english mastiff basically becomes a big affectionate puppy. But don't expect any random acts of brilliance. Empathy and understanding don't count, that comes pretty naturally to them.

  • awwwz my lil (Big) 5 year old mastiff Kai is sooo lovable and laid back.

  • OMG BFF for life <3

  • dopted 2 mastiffs and have a foster one and they can be hard to train at times and they act like lap dogs alot. i have two full grown ones and they act like lap dogs and crawl on my lap and squish me but i love them then i have a baby the age of yours pittsburgh and shes huge

  • I have a mastiff puppy and she is the sweetest dog i've ever owned <3 Cute video!

  • wow... i remember when my mastiff, Madison(gone now) was a puppy and she and I would play all the time... ive read some of your posts... you know quite a bit about dogs... and about tamyk007's message... english mastiff puppies, although are rowdy, as all puppies are. are known for their gentleness toward young kids and babies, as well as their loyalty to their masters...

  • I remember when my puppy looked lik dat all lil now he is a big azz puppy

  • Those two are going to grow up as best friends!

  • i have a 200 pound mastif but hes only 1/2 so he thinks hes a lap dog oh yea hes name is zeus

  • 0:10 the kid looks at the camera like, "WTF...? Turn this thing off would ya!"

  • @gbad1502 ahhahaha, WTF?! :D

  • i love how mastiff puppies are as big as some adult dogs. XD

  • cutest video ever

  • i love mastiffs i just got my first and she is is a great dog she is going to be huge she is only 9 weeks old and over 30 lbs

  • How old was this dog here?

  • oh my god how cute!!! i busted out laughing when the kid started barking back!!!

  • lol i also thought it's a 1 year old mastiff from the tittle xD

  • i misread and thought it said "english mastiff 1 year old" i was like wow thats small for 1 yr old!! lol

  • Just like my pup named Peaches!

  • this is the cutest thing i have EVER seen!!

  • how sweet is ur dog

  • yeh they are stubborn but they are very bright

dogz, very protective of family and personal thingz like house and car :D very teritorial

    beautiful Dogz..

  • beautiful mastiff and kid...

  • No dog is perfect, but the English Mastiff breed is pretty close. My 1 year old will sit on our mastiffs back and yell "Yee Haw" over and over again while she just lays there.

  • Are Mastiff's hard to train?

  • Mastiffs can be stubborn, but they also get their feelings hurt very easily. They don't want you to be upset, frustrated, or angry with them so they'll try really hard to please. In short, I think it depends on what you're trying to train them to do.

  • I keep Mastiff's. You do know what you are talking about. Nice dog!!

  • Mastiff is bigger than Bull Mastiff. Bull mixed with mastiff would become Bull Mastiff. Several months ago, I read news a farmer's Boerboel, three of them killed a black male working in the farm. If you cannot give them space to play, dog would be very sad. In Hong Kong, a golden xxx bite her mistress, who was sent to hospital for treatment. I know dogs and horse are friend of human, but children know nothing of how to be friend with them, you know.

  • yeh they are stubborn but they are very bright

dogz, and learn quickly. very protective of family and personal thingz like house and car :D very teritorial

    beautiful Dogz..

  • @8122556 no there actuly not

  • @8122556 my mastiff x is the most stubborn dog ive ever had. my lab was so easy to train. oh well love him all the same. but i reckon female dogs are alot easier to train then males so that could be a reason why im having trouble with him (mastiff x) and my female lab was a piece of cake

  • thats what i do to mine all the time! ill sit on her...as long as shes getting attention, thats all that matters to her.

  • Any dog can be dangerous if it's not trained correctly. Its attitude has almost nothing to do with breed, the only differences in danger between races are size and musculature etc. As this dog seems to grow up side by side with a baby, it is highly unlikely that the dog will attack babies in the future.

    Sweet pup, Pittsburgh;)

  • Good insights. Cheers.

  • Thanks for sharing that Vid..Ive been looking for a Bully pup for a few months now and have finally tracked one down. You guys answered a question Ive been seeking an answer to,,"Training" They react well to it im told but as mentioned above there Stubborn Buggers..patience I guess is the key..cheers ..

  • Wow,hang on.A Boerboel is not an English Mastiff, they are totally different breeds. They look similar'cos there is some Mastiff blood in there but there is a lot of other stuff aswell.

  • Boerboel and Mastiff are two very seperate breeds, not to be confused. One is the dog of Knights and the other is an African mixture.

  • I kept a bull mastiff when I was in South Africa. His wife was pitbull, they gave birth to 8 puppies, unfortunately, one died on birth. That bull mastiff was no good, but their children were very nicely, may be, the mother's heritage. I kept a female; the father went away. I left SA 0 2001, I handed her to a farmer who went to Canada one year after, I do not know where is she now, may be dead. I feel very sad to give her to the farmer.

  • The South African BoerBoel is not the same thing as an English Mastiff. Clear differences, genetic differences, the breed makeup was slightly altered to receive a slightly different looking mastiff. Enlgish Mastiffs are great family pets. When socialized correctly they can be taught to be aware of their size and their strength and be gentle with people of all sizes and other pets. (Just like most dogs in general.) And yes, I do have mastiffs...and I've educated myself.
