@RandomHuman1000 Thanks. Good tip and that works with the 2D panel, In fact you can swap just about any 2D panel with any other. My EADS Casa 235 uses the default Lear 45 panel. I can never get the VC to work with POSKY add-ons, though. Aw well. It's just a game. Perhaps I'll get myself a copy of VMAX and build my own planes. I would like an IL-76 with a VC and Trent 900's

If you downloaded from POSKY the sound folder should be included. You probably haven't installed it properly.

the Boeing 747 has thrust reversers on all enginese because the number 1 and 4 engines(the ones on the outside)r still over the runway surface. Ony the Airbus A380 has inside reversers only because the A380's #1+4 engines r over the ground and will just rip the grass and the dirt up. hope this answers ur question

A380 also stops perfectly fine with just two reversers. Four would, like you said, destroy it's surroundings, and also pose a significant increase in cost. More parts to build and maintain.

actually,u need to apply the reversers after the main wheel touches down...i've seen alot of real world landings and i never seen any plane applying reversers after the nose wheel touches down

cammaro08 is correct, the minute the main gears touch down, reverse thrust must be applied, this in turn reduces the speed of the aircraft and allows for a safer front gear touch down, if you slam the nose wheel gear down too quickly at a high speed the tires CAN burst! Also, good pilotage is leaving the nose raised in the air for as long as possible, this ensures maxmium stopping power. Search video ID "rOtgLuDbJJc" and see for yourself.

Yeah, but they engage reverse thrust progressively..usually waiting for the nose to come down before applying FULL reverse. Some airport authorities don't even like excessive use of reverse thrust because of noise abatement regs.

You dont use reverse thrust until all wheels are on the ground otherwise there could be problems.

Not necessarily mate. It depends on the aircraft's operating manual. I've seen many 747s touch down and go into reverse throttle immediately, even before the main gears are on the ground.

It says right in the video's description, Microsoft Flight Simulator 2004. The graphic settings appear to be turned up and the airport is an addon.
