  • THANK YOU!! I am just getting comfy with my natural and this has SOOOOO helped!

  • @destinygodley I'm glad it was helpful. It is much easier to do this now but it was hard then. To make it a little easier put the hair into a ponytail and put the clip around it and then remove the elastic band.

  • i like ur personality nd sense of humor that actually caught my attention more than the video lol nice work

  • @itsSimplyPrecious Aw thanks!

  • you did a great job

  • @QUEENDIVINE0704 Thank you so much!

  • @Butterfly22797 I still got em too. Lol.

  • Love the reference to the baby hair and how it's a project thing...LOL...if you ain't from one you just don't understand! Love the hair and thanks for the tutorial...I am gonna give my banana clip a try today! Yours turned out great...and your twist out too...Thanks sista!

  • cute video! You are way funny

  • @anniebella10 Thanks. I started a new channel for hair and health vids. My channel name is 4UsNaturals. First 500 subscribers entered in giveaway!

  • you have nice hair tho ill continue to watch ur vids :)

  • didnt really like it

  • @misssimonewilliams I wasn't floored with it myself but its a pretty popular video so I guess others like it. I would have liked it better if I used a product that held the hairs shape better. It got too fuzzy and soft. It got across the point though. You don't have to use a million bobby pins. You can use the banana clip instead.

  • my mommy is so doin dat style

  • I love your hair and you are hilarious lol

  • @MsTifferzM Lol. Thanks. I tried this style once more recently. My video about Shea Essentials. My hair is longer and bigger. Lol.

  • I thought she was gonna try to stop talking

  • i like that hair style...gonna do it tomorrow...love banana clips...you crack me up!

  • @cherryici Oh you should. I just tried it again in my newer video about shea essentials shea butter. My hair is longer and more Lush in that video but it is the banana clip revisited. To make is easier I used a ponytail holder and put the banana clip around the ponytail and then took it off when the clip was closed. I also still left the back out of the clip and just bobby pinned it. Hope that helps.

  • lol i like this! especially with "i'm not gonna panic" lol

i feel that way sometime, like omg..its not working...NOW WHAT! lol

have a great rest of the week. = )

  • @kzique73 I didn't know what I was gonna do. I really thought it would work. I wore this style in my last video. It is a lot bigger but much easier to do. I just put the hair into a ponytail first and then put the clip around that and then remove the rubber band. Thanks. You have a great week too.

  • @lilchez1 i just saw that video and your hair was SUPER cute! i have yet to try the hawk look yet... i need to get more adventurous with my hair... but until then... i live thru u brave you tubers willing to share! lol thanks!!

  • hair is fab! what r u using for ur daily regime? glad I found ur video! ur 2 strand t/o looked great 2

  • @yonniesnatural Thank you SO much. Right now I can't say I have a real reggie but recently (since I ran out of glycerin) I'm moisturizing w/ water, or Giovanni weightless moisture or a variation of Kimmaytubes Leave in and sealing with shea butter (& baggying sometimes- HAIR SO SOFT). Shea butter will keep your hair feeling delectable as long as you use it to seal in moisture from a water based moisturizer and not apply it to dry hair. Not much else. I wear my satin bonnet in the house too. Lol.

  • i've been natural for 8mos now and i wouldn't go back to relaxer if they were the only things left to do ur hair with..lol....thank you very much...i will be doin this hairstyle tomorrow...

  • @TheSonya78 You're welcome. Glad to hair it. Lol.

  • try putting the banana clip on while your hair is in a very loose ponytail..thats the only way i am able to get the banana clip on and make it tight enough. it works for me..just thought i'd share my experience! :)

  • @dsw2m Yeah you're right. I figured that out after. This was my first time. I think someone told me that in the comments earlier. Thanks so much.

  • My goodness girl you're too cute!!

  • @mari3970 Lol. Why thank you ever so much.

  • i should srtaighten you hair ^.^ i think it would look sooo cute on you :DD

  • Very cute sweetie :)

  • @litlkutie Awww. Thank you so much.

  • The best mohawk video i've ever seen, creative but very durbale, and your humour and smile are both brilliant, just wondering how long did you spend filing your nail? hehe! Also fair dos about bobby pins so why hold the other hair accessories in your mouth? You have a new subscriber! :)

  • You are super cute. I'm a dude, but for some reason I sat through this entire video.

  • @tike0rz Thanks. I'd like to think it was because I was interesting and you really wanted the hairstyle to work out for me. Lol.

  • @lilchez1 You are very interesting, but I couldn't help thinking how much you remind me of Dave Chappelles girlfriend from Half Baked, Rachel True.

  • @tike0rz OMG. I thought you were gonna say I remind you of Dave Chappelle. I have heard that a few times. I always like WTF? I don't know if its the same or worse that a lot of people also thinking I look like Jim Carrey. So thank you for at least letting me remind you of a woman (besides Eartha Kitt-my twin- so I hear). I think Rachel is pretty although I never saw half baked.

  • haha. You're funny :)

  • @bilinny09 Thank you. I am going to be either adding comedy to this channel or making a seperate comedy channel. Watch out for it.

  • hey tip...put the hair you want in a banana clip up in a hair tie, then put the banana clip on, and remove the hair tie....

  • @Heather29241 OMG very good hair tip. Thanks. I've never used a banana clip before so it was my first time but I figured that out eventually. Thanks for putting it in the comments for everyone to see because I forgot to add it on annotations.

  • LOL! Baby hair, you are taking me way back in the day. Glad you took the comb out of the bang area - Hair pins and birth defects - crazy

    Hair looks great :)

  • @curliefro I have been having baby hair out my whole life. My family was for real about it. I might be the only one holding on but I think its pretty. Lol. As for the comb I haven't mastered that yet. The woman that I got the tip from had longer hair in the front and also black combs. It might have made the difference. I like bangs though so no worries.

Thanks so much for the comment.

  • awesome

  • @tristb Thank you much Honey!

  • LOL...you are so funny. I love your hair and videos :)

  • @holyghostcarrier Thank you. I dig your vids too lol.

  • Great Video!

  • @makeitup08 Thanks so much. I had to delete it an re-upload because it didn't have a thumbnail at all and my views stopped and were very slow down for two days. Ugh. Now gotta get my views back up. I appreciate the support.
