Hatred is a learned behavior.....children espousing the views of their parents and ministers......Christ died for the sins of the world including gay people. I'm disappointed that the US and Great Britain allowed this miscarriage of justice. I will add my voice to the chorus of those in the world that believe in equality. @imr22 Its not the UN producing the shit. Its the national governments that do it. The US for instanced sabotaged the draft of the resolution right from the beginning and abstained from the vote. Why?

Because the resolution made clear that human rights do apply in war zones too. Means, no torture allowed in Afghanistan and Iraq. The US cant have that. To protect their torturers they sabotaged the draft and allowed some 3rd World dictators to have it their way and kill the resolution entirely.
