@Madskillsnick Yes there is, he is similar to makoto, lots of mix and match normals. I often play him online while listening to my beats...I sync his moves to the rythm. His moves come out fluid and unpredictable. I have often beat high tier players with using this method LOL, at least this has worked for me...(and maybe a little elevation too) ;-)

@mcfat89 It's VERY difficult to time but is about timing. Once you release your EX Air Slasher, only lightly tap in the focus command. It'll probably just connect without crumbling Dan, this is okay. Keep at it, try to press the focus buttons a bit longer and you'll eventually get it.

@darren1212ify They aren't very similar besides having a good fireball and being charge characters. Dee Jay's normals are way different than Guile's and his combos are way different too. Basically Guile is more of a zoning character while Dee Jay can both zone and rush down.

And no, Dee Jay is not as good as Guile.

@FuccThatShitNigga I said the same thing on another one of these videos. VesperArcade was one of those people that edited out his mistakes. He's a very good player and all, but it's damn near impossible to complete all 840 trials error-free. The camera being on his hands isn't really much help because to the naked eye, it looks like he's just jiggling the joystick. And that's the thing about it. He's using a joystick, while the rest of us are struggling with controllers.

Trial number 19 is also difficult. The thing is you only have a very very limited time for charging to launch the Sobat Festival of DeeJay. Whew. -_-

Oh...my...God...I spent a long time trying to do trial 23 and finally got it. Tip: slow down with the jabs. Don't do quick jabs. Keep every hit equally timed including the Air Slasher. Once you got all 5 hits done, you can then go crazy with his Sobat Carnival after that

Yeah. That's right. to be able to do Most of the combos in Street Fighter, you must know and understand the concepts of Recovery Time, Buffering and Chain Combos. Fighting games like the Marvel vs. Capcom 1 uses only Free-type of Chain combos and Buffering wherein you don't have to wait anymore for your attacks' individual Recovery Time.

@geoscience I found this out and it works with all characters that have those charge moves. Do like you would normally do Sabat carnival BUT after you press forward the first time, press your kick. After you press it you cant hesitate to go into carnival. It is one fluid motion with your fingers but you add a kick in the middle then a kick at the end. If you do it right you should kick and just as you hit him it should initiate Carnival.

@hemightbegiant your were probably releasing the EX FA too early. for that combo as soon as you see a flash of white during the focus attack then let it go and finish the rest of the combo.

@legendofsource I finally did it, it's really hard..you just have to hold the focus a bit long...but "a bit long" is like you barely hold it. You just hold it, then let go and hopefully he'll crumple. Took about 10 mins, wasn't terrible, but took many tries.

@d11525 This is a trick a friend showed me on xbox live. You need both the D-Pad & the Joystick for this. Push down bottom left on the d-pad and hold it, then push down bottom right from the center of the joystick, straight to bottom left, then to top right while pressing the appropriate EX button. It should work, I did the climax beat 3 or 4 times in challenge mode using this technique. Sobats Carnival & Festival are easy: Charge left, right, left, right + kick button (EX kick for festival)

Dee Jay is a charge character. For his Air Slasher, you need to hold back for about two seconds, then press forward punch.

@5covil There's a really weird system in this game and in regular Street Fighter IV. You have to hit each [Light] Punch as late as you can and still have it count as a combo, and then after the last [Light] Punch, do the [Light] kick and then do the Air Slicer as the first part of the input for Sobat Carnival and then do the rest of the input. So, for the last part, you literally have to hold backwards, press forward and punch, press back again (but don't hold) and then press forward and kick.

everybody! note that on trial 21 you do NOT have to be in the corner. this combo is very effective for doing cross ups and I use it to punish opponents who forget to block low as well. also, you can focus cancel into it using EX air slash! this means you can use it in the corner instead of combo 20, which i know is a pain sometimes, in order to change up on your opponent. both are very useful combos

Charge [back] then [forward] Kick (this will do the rolling sobat) then if it hits, quickly input [back then forward] Kick for the second time w/c will bring out sobat festival. It's like you used the first [back-forward] as a shortcut for sobat festival

You crouch in order to avoid running backwards, it lets you charge down at the same time, so you can do jackknife or machinegun upper instead.

His kick reach, which is incredible, also gives you the distance you'll need while charging, too. Love love love LOVE Dee Jay, ever since Super II!!!!!

@RyutoHigashi Try hitting from further away. If you are too close to opponent when doing air slasher it is close to impossible to pull it off. If you jump from further away and start the combo it allows the air slasher to travel just a tad bit more and allows for more time to pull off the focus attack.
