Hate to break it to everybody but that Arrested Development movie is not happening. Nothing official yet but the fact that it's been hears doesn't bode well. And every time an Arrested Development actor is asked about it he or she says the creator of the show can't work out a deal with a studio. It probably has to do that a lot of actors have become bigger stars and demand more money and, let's be honest, an Arrested Development movie isn't going to make $100 million domestically.

@SternSuperManiac I think the show's problem was that it was designed to be watched from the first episode. You will miss jokes if you don't start from the beginning.

That makes for a very rewarding show for fans...but almost impossible to build an audience as they go. It just was too good for normal TV.

It got cancelled by Fox cause Fox are a bunch of wankstains, i live in Asutralia, but what i hear it was put on late in America the same hear in Australia, got a 7:30 slot, then 9:30 then 11:30, and of course peopel tuned out, and the channel says they cant understand why no one watchs it....WTF!, this is one of the most funniest and smartest shows ever, but i am happy to hear a movie is coming soon
