Well I had last minute changes right before my prom, my mom looked this up and did it to my hair. I love it! It looks great. She did this via web cam and really quick. So stop hatin and don't comment. I love my hair and my mom is def. not a hair dresser and it easy to do. The gaps in her hair are because of the two differnet hair colors. My hair is all black and can't see any gaps or pins. Now if you don't like the way she did it don't watch and don't comment.

We appreciate the effort and what you are trying to achieve but unfortunately we cannot give positive feed back,as to the style because with both teasing and tonging take smaller sections, try not to brush out tease. be aware of exposed bobby pins and fly away and even fishhooks. check for balance. but nonetheless we appreciate your effort!!!!!

To be honest, I dislike this look. The idea is good, really, but you did it very messy. There's hair everywhere and it's not neat at all. If someone did that to me I'd hit them.
This was so awesome and helpful. I used parts of this look for an event called the Fairy Tale Ball last night and gave props to your tutorial.
I did the tease and added some small hair rollers under my bump to maintain the height (COrpus Christi is mad humid) and also wore a hair piece to add to my pony tail. I got TONS of compliments. Very salon worthy. Thank you for this tutorial, honey! Keep them coming.

okay, so my aunt just had a wedding three days ago, and i did this on her,(before the wedding just to make sure that she liked it), and she absolutally LOVED IT. it was in poland, so she couldnt really afford it so i had to do her make up and hair, and so when everyone saw what i did with her hair, everyone wanted me to do their hair. i tweaked everyone's so it wouldnt look like the bride's and it was awesome. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! :D
it would be much prettier if it wasnt so messy! maybe next time, while you are blowdrying your hair, add a moose and after its dry, add a light styling wax, it will help to keep smoother.

@Mystified1978 Are you serious, I'm a hair dresser, you can see pins, fly aways, holes (gaps where her pony was put in with the teased hair) her curls are barely that, and it's lopsided. This isn't in, if I did this to a brides hair, I wouldn't get paid. No one is being a "jealous hater"

@BrittyB514 Yeah, I'm sorry to be a downer, but her hair looks nothing like the beautiful blonde's with the tiara. Not necessarily to say she is bad at hair, just that it was a bit disappointing, as I really liked the blonde's updo.

@BrittyB514For someone who is supposedly a hairdresser, well if she did it on a client it would probably look perfect, try doing it on your own head YOURSELF and i bet it wouldn`t look half as great as she did!!

@grumpylittle I use to do this when I was around 8 years, totally unproffesional...theres nice messy and crazy hair day messy. I'm so glad I have learned to do a proper messy curly bun.

okay, so my aunt just had a wedding three days ago, and i did this on her,(before the wedding just to make sure that she liked it), and she absolutally LOVED IT. it was in poland, so she couldnt really afford it so i had to do her make up and hair, and so when everyone saw what i did with her hair, everyone wanted me to do their hair. i tweaked everyone's so it wouldnt look like the bride's and it was awesome. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! :D

it would be much prettier if it wasnt so messy! maybe next time, while you are blowdrying your hair, add a moose and after its dry, add a light styling wax, it will help to keep smoother.
