So my son (12 yrs old) and his friend decide to try this trick on a little used side street that has a speed limit of 25mph. An old woman driving an equally old full size van hits her brakes only to find that she can't stop. To keep from hitting the imaginary rope or the kids, she throws on her emergency brake and her transmission in the process. She nearly has a heart attack and has to have her van towed.
