Howlong does it take to get the tank perfect before adding the fish? becouse my friend who has had alot told me it takes 3 or more months but on the new tv show ive just started watching called TANKED add the fish streight away and they seem fine
i am in process of making a 10g atm i got protein skimmer, power flow i believe its called tht, filter , live rocks, and live sand.....i want 2 clown fishes and one anemone what else do i need for this? im pretty sre i need the light what light do i need?
It was all down to money I'm afraid :( With tanks this size and bigger you have to have the funds for when something goes wrong. There was also a few other personal reasons that contributed to my decision.
@SeeSkulp thats what i hate about marine tanks, things can go terribly wrong all of a sudden and they are such a huge investment of money that its risky.
Hi there, i think your tank is beautiful. Im in the process of building my own set up at mo and im trying to get as much info as i can. Could you tell me what filtration and lighting systems you use please. I love the lighting that is in your tank. Looks amazing, well done
I'm soon going to convert my 10 Gallon tank (with tons of difficulties with disease and stuff) into a shrimp aquarium. I also have enough money to buy a 30 gal for my first Marine Aquarium!
i know bigger tanks take care of themselves in the long run with additional regular maintenance, but i simply cannot afford a bigger tank right now than a 10 gallon. can anyone give me some good quick tips on getting started on nano reefs? would greatly appreciate it =). Nice tank BTW! ur hard work & effort shows.
go to petco and buy a 20 gallon tank for 15 bucks, then buy a nice external filter and t-5 light, then buy all of your fish, rock and sand at your local fish store..
Wow! Someone who cares and works hard to make a perfect marine ecosystem in captivity! That probably took most of your time, but it is beautiful! Very nice. Good luck with it!
Absolutely beautiful setup and I love the music too. I've always wanted a marine aquarium, I have a 180L tropical one. Trouble is my nearest stockist for marine supplies is 75 miles away so not practical really

very will done job, amazing water movement, every thing looks healthy.
just a recommendation but it is a mater of personal taste, i recommend you raise the rock formation a bit, it looks empty on the top.
you get a 5 star from me.
