One last question I am sorry, I am not going to lie you have inspired me to make a team similar to yours. As you know I used Alakazam before but this latias seems like the perfect starter, how did you get Charm on it at level 50 and not 55 when it learns it by level? I can't find a TM for it and the move tutors in HGSS don't know it :(

@SomeLuckyKid no it's not hacked, and i did the EV training myself. it has 154 speed, and that is only with 76 EV's - with a full 252 EV's its speed would be 178, so i have no idea where you're getting the number 152 from......

@BozoTheBear My apologies I redid the numbers over and over but I was always looking for a problem in the Speed stat. With 72 EVs its not possible but I thought the Defense stat has 186 EVs to get 133 Def, you can get 133 Def with 182 EVs. That means you can have 76 EVs in speed and you do get 154. My mistake it was an error in the Def EV. That has to be the best friggin Latias in existence though, did you get it with RNG resets?

I love the strategy you put into your team it's amazing. I have one question though, I was SO impressed by that latias that you have I had to figure out how you had such great stats on that annoying bugger since it was also SHINY. So... I came across a disturbing number that I was curious about.

1) it allows him to set up on status moves, like thunderwave, will o wisp. and also disrupting moves, like scary face. (have to be a little careful switching into them).

2) when set up, it gives him a life-line - eg if the opponent has bright powder, quick claw - you still get a second chance.

3) it also helps avoid OHKO moves.

@HeavenStrikesBack i think you're confusing EV's and IV's. EV's are what you get when you train your pokemon against wild pokes or trainer's pokes, so every pokemon gets them (apart from level 100s). IV's are the stats the pokemon is created with, and even though you can't breed legends, you can still catch them ov er and over to try and get a good one (or use RNG abuse to get perfect ones easily)

the closest I came to was 46 wins, then a trainer came and sheer cold my whole team!!!!! I f***in hate the AI and their OHKO moves. Maybe when I get platinum, I'll have better options and have a better team. You're really good by the way.

I know EXACTLY what you mean. Me and my buddy lost tonight after an EPIC 114 battle-streak in the battle tower for double battles (multi). When the computer is out of options, it just sends out Lapras with Quick Claw and Sheer Cold. I'm still shocked by this match, because as far as Smogon's concerned, the record for double battle stands at 119 :( I will be uploading our video very soon, so watch it if your interested in computer cheatings with sheer cold (and other BS).

It had 1PP left, and out of nowhere it had a Leppa Berry and restored Sheer Cold's PP and just destroyed my Umbreon. I think it's two: one with a quick claw and one with a Leppa berry. Saying that I was pissed is an understatement -__-

@superpower612 - they're the maximum possible stats a salamence can have, and has been EV trained - he was bred using RNG abuse, a technique that allows you to essentially click the buttons at just the right time in order to obtain the results you want. search for "RNG abuse" on smogon if you're interested.

when you're holding a power item it gives you EV's in the relevant stat, even if the pokemon you're facing doesn't give you those EVs. so pretty much everything is done against those magikarps. if i needed a couple of extra points at the end, i probably killed a couple of shinx near sandgem.

i usually just trained against the guy with 6 magikarps next to eterna. let your pokemon hold the power item that gives attack EV's. and yes, if you rare candy a pokemon up to level 99 and THEN give it EVs, it will get massive stat gains when it levels up to 100.

yeah - whats the difference in our registeel tactics? you can tell me on smogon if its too complicated :) basically i just try and keep the sub intact. and i use sub after stat-ups unless crits would do lots of damage, or if they use an ice attack that can freeze.
