my first time on ambien i took a 30 mg, n i halucinated there was a man chasing me with a knife trying to kill me, n apperently i calld my boyfriends mom at like 3 n the morning telling her i was going to hang myself b/c this man wont leave me alone she came to our house banging on our front door, with my bf telling my mom i was about to kill myself, idr anything but thy said i was chasing butterflies & everything else. i would have prolly killd myself if i hadnt of calld her. lol.

not a place to be posting serious material on this subject; but i would like extensive research done on the hallucinations caused by ambien.

after reading many of the comments some have had "tripping" experiences, and others have not.

it literally boggles my mind that a person can trip from a single, 10mg, pill. this fact alone has made myself slowly experiment up towards 120-200mg.

and with no hallucinations occurring at those doses. it truly falls on the chemistry of one OWN's brain.

In my own opinion, it depends on the person taking it. For me and a lot of people I have talked to, taking a 10mg, waiting about 10mins and then taking another 10mg will give you a nice high and a nice little trip. Idk what your high feels like but I always feel light as a feather, my body feels awesome (lol), but when I move I feel grounded. It all varies from person to person I guess

I tripped on Ambien after I had decided to finish something really quickly on my computer before going to bed. I had vague memories of crawling on my hands and knees to my bedroom, dragging my purse. Things look distorted. I only realized it wasn't a dream when I found my purse in my bedroom and the icons on my desktop moved around the next morning. I like to write in bed to see what I end up with in the morning, but I'm not aware of any actual sleepwalking since that incident.

I love Ambien! I just take it 2 or 3 times a week when I really can't sleep. I can so relate to what you said about the letters being "happy" on the screen, and it feels like you can see right into it, and reach in and pull the three dimensional words off.

I discovered that if you take half of one, instead of blacking out - you take a very relaxing trip! Guess what? I just took half a dose about 20 mins ago and it's starting to kick in now. I'm so happy my little private hobby is legal...
