I think the little brat's attitude makes it that much more odious to watch and his parents also dig the attention they are getting you can tell they have no interest in his losing weight. 15 minutes of fame can cause his child to lose his life later on.

Would you say that preventing a child from learning to read is not abuse? Not teaching children the skills they need in order to survive CAN be considered abusive. If you're correct that they just give him food every time he cries, that IS abusive because it's not addressing the real reason he's crying, it's not teaching him how to function in the world, it's not meeting his emotional needs and it's destroying his health. How can you say that's not abusive?
This is child abuse. This poor child can barely walk! Children are dependent on their parents for food, and no child would end up like this if the parents weren't giving him extraordinary amounts of food.
