  • themadmuso,

Wow you are so charmingly pomo in your smugness. You've made several judgments based on 9 minutes of exposure to my talking head (I prefer 'heresy hunter' to 'belief police'). In America we call them 'bars', I prefer wine, and fake people exist there too. I must confess though that I'm intrigued by your claim that you can exegete the evils of automobile use. But, if what you do in your homegroup can't be found in Scripture then something is off. Might want to check that.

I have noticed many preachers on the God channels are overweight - does anyone atack them with a scripture re: food addictions (there are plenty of proof texts there eh!) but why not spoken against in the same way as a congregational member with a nicotene or pornography addiction - OK I'll tell you why .... GRACE! The internet 'belief police' make me smile - get off the Utube - go down the pub, drink some beer, rub shoulders with real people who face real life issues every day..

My Grand Cherokee Jeep (by the way - awful unreliable american junk) appears nowhere in the old or new testament yet I still drive it (when it is working that is) but I could 100% prove from scripture that using this piece of rubbish engineering is harming humans, the enviroment, the local air quality and causing both me and my kids to put on excess weight as a result of not walking around our town streets anymore!

I find it amusing that the phrase 'local church' does not appear anywhere in scripture however many of us have given our whole lives for it - preached it lived it loved it - been shaped by it, even hated it at times but stuck with it!! One could probably argue a convincing sermon (using proof texts - in essecence a western approach anyway) here that 99.9% of what we do on a Sunday morning and midweek at 'homegroups' in traditional/charasmatic church appears nowhere in scripture.

  • RESPONSE PT 1

....goodness me - actually I do not partake in this 'Holy Ghost Toking' however watching 9 minutes of another well meaning Christian who feels that their sole responsibility in life is to bring 'correction'/'scary warning' actually makes me want to seek out these Christians who are 'Toking' & join in to the max! Sounds like they are less dualistic than many of us who profess to be 'filled' and actually experience Christ in a tangible way in their bodies as well as their thinking.

  • The Holy Spirit is a person, He is also a Spirit.

  • dude there are two types of drunkness.

Your either drunk on the 'fleshy wheshy-mind'

    or

possessed by the 'spirit-mind of Christ'

    oiy oiy shakahashra!

  • isuckle,

And you support this statement by....?

You my brother are right on the mark! You are quoting scripture here that the tokers have been given constantly on here, the problem is, they are in delusion and they really can't hear you, not that you should stop speaking, God forbid! But they must hear these scriptures and then run to there leaders (John Crowder) books and see what he says because they respond with almost his exact words, it's amazing! and they don't even realize it! Delusion is an awful thing!

  • Good Video, these people try and fill in the blanks of a scripture that fits their delusion. They were given a few scripture verses by there father John Crowder, if he quotes it, they believe it, they don't even check it out, when challenged they do what Crowder taught them to do call it persecution "Percy". Real Christians are taught to try the spirits to see if they are from God, but unfortunately Crowder don't teach that to his cult following. "They think", if you notice they say that a lot.

  • Dear natrimony. I think there is bilical support for toking the ghost. Do you belive we can be filled by the holy ghost? Do you belive in faith acts, prophetic acts? (we can discuss if those are in the bible). Then breathing in the spirit as a faith act (Jesus breathed on the disciples and said receive the spirit) is scriptural. To call it toking the ghost is to make it culrurally relevant to some. We could say drink the spirit (a biblical term), it would mean the same.

  • If you belive we can only do faith acts/prophetic acts that already are described in the bible, that would limit God. Most of the things Jesus did is not written there, as John said, so that thought would not be scriptural.

  • Also, just because toking the ghost is offending to some christians, doesn't mean that it is evil. Jesus deliberatly offended the religious mind many times.

(i have never heard any objections from any non christian, on the other hand there are mane salvations and deliverances that come trough it...we need to jugde by the fruit, not by the suit...)

  • "The Son of man shall send forth his angels, and they shall gather out of his kingdom all things that offend, and them which do iniquity;" Mat 13:41

"But whoso shall offend one of these little ones which believe in me, it were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and that he were drowned in the depth of the sea." Mat 18:6 Your right about one thing, the world won't object, because the world loves it's own. Repent and renounce the Satanic works that you abide in.

  • Hello XtremeCh,

I do agree with your prayer for the most part. However, I don't quite understand how it is a response to my video. Perhaps you could explain.

  • LOL baby Jesus with a shotgun! I bet He has one too...BOOOMBA!

  • Your irreverence is quite telling sir.

  • natrimony: I was going to use those Scriptures but you beat me to it. Keep up the good fight for the faith...
