  • oh come on really? the referee pulls the two fighters to the middle? in grappling the fighters separate and walk to the middle and get in the same position. in mma..... it doesn't matter. i think they pull them to the middle because the ring isn't safe - really... you could go right through the gaps. even the cage is safer.

  • that was a pretty good fight for children :) i wish mma was big when i was a kid. all we had was copying wwf moves on concrete lol. im 18 now and have been doing mma for about 2 years. if i started at like 9, i might even be competing at a high level by now :(

  • my sons all do mma my oldest is 15 and he is 1 and 0 no one will let him fight until he is 17 now. that and no opponents

  • Great video. My kids love it! I asked my little girl what her favorite part of the fight was and she said where the winner picked the other boy up and slammed him into the mat. My son liked the part where the winner was punching the looser in the face when he was on top of him.

  • nice fights this kids are great butt im agree whit you hes should be better then keep the headwear protection but not the boxing glove this not boxing ist mma

  • I'm not saying that you are wrong.

This was a once-in-a-lifetime event. The regulations restrict this activity to special circumstances.

It's hard to grapple with headgear. Most boxing experts agree that headgear reduces cuts, but not concussions.

There were no injuries that night. Some minor pain, but that's the game & we all heal.

  • I think that it is great for a kid to get into MMA young but the only thing in my eyes is there was very little protection, even in ameteur boxing they wear headgear, gloves, mouthpieces & a cup. They should have had MMA gloves, headgear, mouth Piece, cup & shin guards because these are just kids

  • Well, I'm guessing they both were wearing mouth guards and probably a cup BUT full boxing gloves would be impractical for MMA considering there is grappling involved and shin guards and headgear would make it nearly impossible for them to wrestle. Kids in Thailand start boxing when they're 8 or 9 and they don't wear any headgear and I have never heard of any incidences of brain damage. Brain damage occurs to boxers who continue their career well past 30. I doubt these boys will be in it then.

  • No head kicks were allowed so they did not wear shin pads.

  • that's not the only reason that you wear shin guards, you block leg kicks with your shins, meaning that it's shin on shin. That is a huge reason why people wear shin guards, to protect their shins, that is why they call them shin guards.

  • I didn't say that kicks to the head are the only reason to wear shin guards. I said that kicks to the head were not allowed and that's why they did not wear shin guards. They were optional and they didn't want to wear them. I'm well aware that shin/shin, shin/knee, shin/elbow contact can occur.

  • thats was sick. you son totally owned.

  • Damn, the kids get bikini models too?

  • lol at 9:02 the guy just comes and drags them away from the edge and there still fighting!

  • Great strength and skill on both boys! Great fight.
