I'm currently getting shafted in the ass on this part by attempting to complete it on Big Boss Extreme. It is fucking hard, i did it a piece of piss on all the other difficulties. I challenge anyone to upload a video of this part succesfully stealthed in BBE mode. Fucking awesome game though, i love metal gear!

Where are you from? extreme difficulty is Boss mode. Big Boss is the hard difficulty. Is it different in other countries?

But you're right. Big boss and boss mode are EXTREMELY hard to get through. On big boss, I shot my way through and ran like hell. on boss mode I couldn't do that and died easily so I had to do it stealth. I messed up when I shot the gekko, then they harrassed me until I opened the door.

the good way to go here is actully the sneaky way

and for the gekko it is easier to put its legs to sleep and rush to the door

When I went through it.

I was un-aware you oculd buy extra bullets from drebin.

And I shot down EVERYBODY.

I ran outta ammo very quickly.

I had to sneak the rest of the way.

ok i doubt this would work on big boss extreme. hes right by ppl shooting them in open ground. they would have seen him like three times. The sniper would have definetly seen him on a higher difficulty. Good job though pal you gave a good route.

I think its 14893, and It only gives you 100000 DP. Sorry. You enter it when Otacon gives you that other code to open the gate in Shadow Moses Level. You'll here that monkey when you enter this. :)

If your want Stealth Camo you must no be spotted the whole game. If you want the bandanna you must not kill anyone. IF you have a save file beat the game first then start a new game

dude you are a god!!!!! without this i would have never made it past this. the guide book said to stay all the way left and it was killing me cause i couldnt make it more than halfway through without being spotted. Playing on solid normal and i praise all who can play on anything more.

the bandanna give you infinite ammo and camo makes your camo index 100% making you invisble to PMC's it doesn't work on bosses, Gekko's or Scarabs

you can get through this level without even using weapons just take the route you were taking. it would be easier to explain if i made a video but im incapable of doing so. :p. GJ

It is possible, but not as quick as he did it. If you're going for a timed run, the tranc gun(s) are the way to go.
