he was great.he spoke 7 languages perfectly, he was a wwII hero, he was very very intelligent and actually very soft spoken and quiet in real life, which is hard to believe because he was so out of control crazy in the t.v. show!

I was addicted to this show I still am.There is nothing like the show and these actors can't be replicated.I wish they would stop trying to remakes the dukes by using these actors that don't even or EVER will come close to the real actors and show.I Loved every single one of these Characters.

he was a brilliant man. and a very talented man. among every one of us, he's as famous as he could ever dream to be. im a huge fan of both Cooter and Ben Jones. what many don't know is that Sorrel and Ben were best friends ever since Dukes. the pic at :46 reminded me of that.

I suppose there may have been other actors who could have played the part of Boss Hogg. But there is no doubt of all the people on Earth...Sorrel was THE person for this part. And he enjoyed the part as well.

I'll never forget the "autograph session" at the Va Beach Pavilion....me and my brothers were in line and going to meet Boss Hogg who was up on a high up on a stage.......then when we finally got to the front, an usher told us that we wouldn't get to see him and roped off the stairway.....what a bummer
