Hey phreakindee i have the "duke extreme" expansion but unfortunatly i dont have duke nukem the atomic addition (which is required to play it) and i also have windows vista (which is not helpful) so i was hoping if you have could you do a review of duke extreme? just askin

Its a shame that this expansion turned out to be so bad.
No new weapons, poor enemy designs, average level designs.
Still if the Duke Nukem 3D remake gets finished I hope someone will remake/reimagine this expansion as well as remake the other two ones.
And a Duke Nukem 4th of July expansion would be cool, the aliens going back in time to fight on the side of the 'red coats', with Duke saving historic characters like George Washington (in a historic incorrect uber patriotic fashion of course)

It's strange that there's no information about Simply Silly Software. All that's really known is they made Duke: Nuclear Winter but after that they just disappeared. I know they have not made anything since but I just wonder if they are defunct or not; I know it's more than likely they are defunct but nothing has been said to confirm that. Not even wikipedia has information on them.
@Damocles178 Yeah, I'm not sure they did much else. They also did one or two "D!Zone" Duke Nukem 3D map compilation discs, but that's all I'm aware of.
@phreakindee I do find it unusual but I think someone should do a complete overhaul of Duke: Nuclear Winter and make it into the game it should've been with new quotes and all because your quotes would go nicely with it :) With all these great mods out there without doubt christmas themed weapons could be made and perhaps better designed levels to accompany it. Though despite the laziness of simply silly software this is the only expansion to feature a completely new boss :)
i love how ihave to use the dos prompet i was born in 95 and rememeber playing this when i was 5 awsome game, and does any one know how to use the mouse to aim

@Pseudologic i have to drink it...im diabetic...and the stuff is HORRIBLE has no taste what so ever and it seems to be the most commonly sold sugar free drink of that kind....i would drink regular coke more often, but i hate the notion of taking insuline everytime i want to drink....i already have to take it when i gotta eat, so doing after a drink would just piss me off more than the tastless beverages out there already do -_-
thankfully there is pepsi max, although not as common

Cool review! I have played the original Duke Nukem 3D game, but none of the other ones. From what I can tell about this game from the gameplay, it definately could have been a lot better.

Cool review! I have played the original Duke Nukem 3D game, but none of the other ones. From what I can tell about this game from the gameplay, it definately could have been a lot better.
