It seems like this version is from the father's PoV, talking to his wife, and his daughter for the second verse showing how seeing his daughter is so much pain makes him want to fix their relationship, while Justin's is from the child's PoV showing him working through the pain with the help of a sibling for friend, at least that's how I see it.

I'm a Justin Bieber fan, but I really think that Jackie Boyz sang this WAY better than Justin. Because their voices are deep enough, and Justin needs to lower his voice when singing this song.
