@kevinreedmusic It's a run in the E minor penatonic/G Major penatonic. It's a pretty common thing John does in some of his songs. (No such thing, Gravity, Covered in Rain, ect.) The song is in E major so playing a riff in E minor gives it more of a bluesy feel to it. Hope that helped. =]
