The voice actress for Akane is NOT the same as the one for Kagome.

Richard Cox and Kelly Sheridan do the voices for Inu-Yasha and Sango, though, as well as Ranma and Ukyo.

Rumiko Takahashi is a great anime creator, but she did not make Fruits Basket. Fruits Basket was created by Natsuki Takaya. If anyone has free time, you should check that anime out. It's the best!! Not really recommended for guys, unless you're the sentimental type :P
