Will this work good for Downhill Mountain Biking? I need something like this to protect my core against rocks if I happen to go down in a rock section. Does you have easy mobility while wearing it, and is it a really snug fit? I need something that will fit snug and I wont notice it. Thanks!

@utuberocks452 It can definitely crossover to downhill mountain biking. Its core purpose is to protect from rocks and debris. It is a comfortable and snug fit, and shouldn't cause you any discomfort when you're ripping the trails.

How do you remove the strap from back plate to wear it as chest plate only?

@antsa19 Hey Ant, there are three screws that connect the large back plate to the smaller top back plate. You'd remove the larger plate, remove the strap attached to it and connect that to the roost guard. Then there is a tension strap that would connect from the remaining top portion of the back plate to the elasticated strap securing the roost guard and you'd be all set.

i got one a these a little while ago and it says on it that its meant for flying rocks a debree from other bikes, does this mean its not good for crash protection?

@12sem12 The main vein that these types of vests are used in dirt riding, so the primary use is for debris protection. However, that isn't to say they won't protect in a crash! I would definitely recommend pairing one of these with shoulder and elbow protection for the best results. If you should have a get-off situation the vest will shield any impact with the ground, rocks, roots, or other painful objects.

@autoxpilotxoff The Proframe was designed to work with a Leatt brace. It will work with other neck protectors, but won't be quite as comfortable or fit as perfectly as it would with a Leatt.

@FMXndMXismylife Hey FMX, this protector was designed with the Leatt brace in mind, so it accommodates a Leatt very well. It can also work with an Alpinestars but it won't fit as well or be as comfortable as with the Leatt. Let us know if you have any other questions.
