Yeah. They typically have forward current limits of 120mA and reverse voltage limits about equal to 5 times their forward drop, or about 5V to 12V, depending on color.

It should light even if you turn the motor shaft in the opposite direction, or in alternating directions.
Led rectifiers are not as hearty as bridge rectifier ones.
