so your ipod is 3.0? if it is then appsync 3.0 should work and installous should be able to download, maybe your internet is blocking it or something. Try using another wifi network.

Quick lesson: it is called jailbreaking because you break the device out of jail, out of its boundaries that the original firmware kept it inside of (jailbreaking has nothing to do with going to jail for doing it as "mattarous" thought). It is not illegal to jailbreak a device, it just ruins your warranty. If you have modified content on your iPhone/iPod, Apple don't want to help you because it is most likely your own fault that it got fucked up and therefore won't be covered.

yea sure! your ipod or iphone is just plain normal without jailbreaking(hacking) it to hack it, you need a file that can help the jailbreak program to unpack settings and hack your phone. Check out my other videos, on how to jailbreak!

Respring is when your iphone or itouch reloads. And the downloading part - go into "Cydia Installer" and tap on search. Type in "Dockflow" And download "iSpazio Dockflow" Download iPod if you are using a iTouch.
