John Howard was Australia's greatest Prime Minister. Kevin Rudd rigged the votes in all of Queensland last year- including the electorate of Griffith. I think Rudd should face a Royal inquiry to investigate his rigging of votes. Australia has been conned. TURN ON THE LIGHTS AUSTRALIA!

The ABC have not been able to sum up with any accuracy or verisimilitude the Howard years to date, and nothing I hear on this suggests they have begun. I am sure that those years involved the government making hard choices. On balance, I think it was the most effective Austr Govt ever.

China was the reason for our mining growing like it did not the liberal party.

Keatings work during the 80 got us through the asian crisis and stoped us going into recession .

Recession would have hit australia in howards first two years in office.

Howard is on the record of saying keating set us up.

Australia could have gone into recession during the asian crisis but work done in the eightys saved us from the asian crisis.

And the recession we had to have was just that it was unavoidable .

we were not the only country in recession at that time.

If keating got a little longer he was going to raise super from 9 to 15 %.
