I think the reason a lot of people are reacting negatively is because you titled it 'the most talented kids in america' and thats a pretty bold statement which would suggest a video documenting virtuosic prodigies.

As it happens they are fairly good for their age, but nothing you wouldn't find in any performing arts school in any developed country in the world. So the negative comments are probably because the viewer feels short changed, not because they are 'scared' of talent.

i was dissapointed about the lack of footage showing them perfroming, anf their art etc. mainly it was just people talking, not dancing or whatever their talents is. however understand it was probabyl inspirational to be at the scene with them.

Yes unfortunately this was supposed to be a short 5 minute documentary about the program not a performance piece. We could have made a 1/2 hour program with what was available but that was not the assignment.

I'm sorry that you don't appreciate any of the talent that is evident to me. We shot over 25 hours of video and there is a ton of footage of really talented kids and remember they are still learning they were only 16 0r 17. Unfortunately in the video you have to cut most of the performance in order to get the message in. I apologize if you don't get a feel for what I experienced when I shot it - honestly it was inspirational to me.
