I remember the whole Tyra vs. Naomi thing as it was happening many years ago. My take? I believe Naomi felt threatened by Tyra. However, Tyra should have taken her OWN advise and "toughed up." Instead she let Naomi scare her off. Oh and getting fat didn't help her career either.
The whole world of fashion knows what a nasty person Naomi has always been. She is arrogant and angry by nature and loves to mistreat those who are not in a position to strike back at her. Naomi, you are no longer the catwalk (bitchy) queen and you better start being nice to people, keeping those phones in your bag.

If I'm not mistaken, I believe that's Beverly Peele. She was another black model during the late 80's and 90's. THey used to call her "Baby Naomi" because of their similar features. She quit the business sometime in the mid 90's to raise her daughter.
Another great video, I can't believe Tyra would say Naomi tried to have her banned from the runways, that is so not true. I see Meghan Douglas,Patrica Velazquez, that superhot african american model(not naomi)with the smoking body and countless of others. I love it so much
