  • to magus x1 I now what your going through witch constumers service my timer warne itenet went  out twice this year. It was there fault both times we had to hasle them alot the second time both the lady next door and my neighboor chewed them both out on the phone. It was fracken riduculoius. They didn't want to come out because they assume all there of us had the same connected that it had been fixed.

  • Speaking of AOL, customer service isn't their only problem. Their userbase are complete morons. Look at my AOL rant for some of the idiocy.

  • One type of customer service I hate is when you get connected to people with HEAVILY foregin accents and sometimes you can't understand them and you ask them to repeat and it can get annoying. Which I guess falls into outsourcing.

  • lol about outsourcing what pissed me off one time when I called I believe household bank or capital one and a guy with a thick indian accent answered and goes "hello my name is bob smith how may I help you".

  • I used to work for Sprints Call Center, we were trained that cancelations have to be charge with $500 on the fly or next month.

    Many representatives instead of canceling they took your money and save it for Sprint, that why Sprint had to close in Costa Rica (fraud). The software is way old, it freezes and doesnt work on the credit card confirmation part. Nevertheless the site was awful just 20 min to launch and I had to work for 5 hours just because I was late for 10 min over the month.

  • I once delt with Bad Customer Service when I had a problem with a wireless LAN router I once bought. The guy was rude as hell.

  • Nintendo's customer service may be good but they are not so good in their repairings. They sent back my Wii with a broken SD card slot that I did not have before. Then when I sent it again, they wiped all my saved data and I could not recover it (except for my VC games).

  • The most annoying thing I had with Virgin Mobile was that when you call customer service you have to speak REALLY clearly for them to hear you, if not then you had to press the freaking number they tell you. That's kinda the same thing too when you have to top-up your phone. But yeah...their service is kinda good but the phones are so freaking shitty, you have to be in a service area to call and text message! It annoys me because my friends message me, and I cannot txt back.

  • Like I said on that AOL customer service video: I was with AOL for 5 fucking years until I got Verizon DSL. AOL suckes. 56k my ass! BUT, and this is like a reply to lonewolfjedi's comment, You shouldn't toss those AOL free trials. Whenever your DSL is out for whatever reason; pop one of those CDs in and BOOYAH! internet with no commitment.

  • Ok, first I would love to take part in one of your discussions but I dont think you are on when I am since I work the graveyard shift at my job, 12-8am PST, second I saw the vid and left a comment, third, a friend of mine used to do cust serv for some company and they train them to try to persuade them from leaving, and finally, I never had AOL, thank god, whenever those cdrom things come in the mail I just chuck em in the trash

  • I kinda had the same thing with Virgin Mobile when you call the customer service thing, I was opening an account on one of my phones that I have and well let's just say that the people who work there are kinda rude and nice. I remember getting this guy or girl(can't remember) and it took almost like an hour or so to freaking put my account for my phone. I had to give them all the information, not only that when you're calling the customer service you have to speak cleary so they can hear you.

  • I was on the phone to AoL trying to cancel my account... I ended up for an hour and a half talking to a guy who spoke hardly any english >:(

  • when i had to install dsl i ran into a problem and i had to call for help. It took us about an hour to get someone after that she told us the only person helping a lot of other customers.

  • That also happened to me when I try to cancel AOL, it happen to me before that guy recorded the call. I also returned my lingerie set because it fits too small sand then that lady refused because "It's used" no I have tried them at home because the fitting rooms are so full and didn't have time to wait and I asked for the manger and she cussed and yelled at me, and I told her "Fuck you, and I hope one day you get fired from your job".

  • my part time job is at a supermarket as a bakery assistant. i have to reduce products at 5:30, putting all the products on a trolley and reducing them inside, as otherwise if customers see you with a handset they ask you to reduce non-bakery goods, and others see and it just snowballs. i used to refuse to do reductions on the shop floor for people and apologised, but now i take it out back for them and reduce it for them discreetly. before i felt like a jerk before at times for what i was doing.

  • I got some pretty good customer service with microsoft with my Xbox, but I guess maybe I got lucky. The nintendo customer service was really good when my Wii broke. If you want bad customer service, you should see my local target. Maybe it's just this place but they have HORRIBLE service.

    Though I absolutely hate Best Buy's customer service. There are some good individuals there but the majority of them sucks.

  • New Zealand xbox service sucks my xbox had red rings i sent it in and they said that it had red rings!! THEY TOLD ME WHO TOLD THEM THAT IT HADRRoD WTF AND THEY DIDNT EVEN PLUG THE AV CABLE IN THE 360!!! SO THEY DIDNT DO ANYTHING RIGHT CAUSE ITS BROKEN AGAIN THE STUPID FUCKS!!

  • Sony was great to us. When our PS2 broke, we had to send it in to get it fixed. But they screwed up and sent ours to another guy who was pleased with it and didn't want to return it, so they sent us his fixed system AND a brand new one! The only bad customer service I've had is at restaurants like Wendy's. Waiting 10 minutes in line for chicken nuggets is rediculous!

  • I had bad service when I went to Denny's, I went out with the family and it took a while for them to give us our drinks. Then we ordered what we wanted to eat and they took a long time to bring it to us cause they sat us really far in the back. Their was alot of people so we ended up walking out, and this girl told us to wait so we said just forget it because you had bad service and she started running after us and slipped on water then landed really hard on the floor.

  • That's why my family doesn't go to Denny's anymore. Horrible service AND all the plates are utensils were dirty!

    I went to one once way back when I was reall young I went with my mon's father who is now deceased to a Denny's. he died 4 year back. The service that morning was so slow that I was late our was almost late for school that day.

  • I just saw the aol one, he's really stupid. I agree about it's business, also that Nintendo and Sony have good customer services. Nintendo helped me when I have problem with my Nintendo mag sub, Sony helped me with my PS3 problem even called back for concern. I can't say much about Micrisoft, but I do heard tales of bad Customer Services.  One bad incident for me is Omni bus, I aked for time arrival, but the lady said I needed to give the exact place, I could't and refused to help.

  • Dell also outsources, and it does suck ass. They will also not work with you. I was working on a computer for a friend and they needed a number of some kind that they said was on the computer. I did find a number, and they accepted it and connected me to another rep. THAT rep said that number was not valid and I needed another one. I could not find it, frustration increased, and it all ended with me getting no help. Screw you, Dell.

  • oh god i hate customer services at&t has horrible customer services all i wanted to do was get a new modem for my Dsl right Jesus fucking Christ they tried to sell me so much i was like NOOOOO I JUST WANT A FUCKING NEW MODEM!then to install my new modem i had to call them to see why it wouldn't work with my router oh god i swear to god i wanted to shoot the customer service guy i end up just sending the modem back now I'm switching to a different high speed internet service

  • ... again, about a week ago and I still have had no response. So, what am I meant to do? I don't know... it really only leaves me with the option of writing them a physical letter. Well, I would phone them but their customer service is bad to the point of no phone number.

    So, why did I say it was Hit & Miss? Because when you don't prove them wrong in Banning issues they usually respond well within the 72 hours. But, then again why have a 72 hour thing if you might not get a reponse at all?

  • A prime example of Hit and Miss Customer service online is DeviantArt. Now, Magus, you know my account got banned due to, well, you know who. I sent a Ban Inquiry to DeviantArt pointing out why their banning of me was unjustified. I also mentioned that they technically robbed me (I was a subscriber) since I did no wrong. Guess what? They haven't replied. It's been over 1 month since I sent that Ban Inquiry. 72 hours is the patience they ask of you. I recently sent this letter... *NEXT COMMENT*

  • Yea It sucks to be sent to an Outsourced tech serv.. cannot understand them.. but I understand why they do it at MS.. is because they have 100% more tech calls then Nintendo and Sony.. not that I am defending them. Yea two places that I found had best were Nintendo and as Much as I hate Apple they have DAMN good tech serv... I had to call about Iphone issue and they helped us through it step by step.. man they were patient...

  • I have delt with DirecTV before since I use to have that service years ago. They have Horrible customer service when I want to watch a PPV movie they become very rude when it comes to ordering PPV movies and sporting events so I said fuck it and switch to cable.
