  • How can someone dilike this? Ive got thunderstorm videos recorded them last night got really loud! Uploaded them on here x

  • I hate thunderstorms, especially severe ones.

  • was it a tornado warning or just a regular storm?

  • @damhaugandreas It looks like it was just a severe weather warning, but it may have been a tornadic supercell, which would be the reason for the sirens. If there's even the slightest chance that a thunderstorm will turn into a tornadic thunderstorm, they'll issue a siren warning.

  • Awesome video, I wish we had more of these tyoes if storms

  • america must get more powerful storms than australia

  • bloody oath. except australia jst gets dangerous lightning lol

  • omg that would be scary!

  • I watched every 4 Parts

This is the best Video of Thunderstorm i ever seen.

  • crazyness where is this at what town ? i live in saint cloud

  • wow thats the best storm ever, i wish i was you ;)

  • I hate nighttime thunderstorms, especially if they wake me up from a sound sleep! gRRR!! Great vid, though; FIVE stars!

  • @txstoryteller me too

  • Savage, frequent lightning - wow. 5 stars and an add to my "StormChase" play list - along with part II - well done.

    *StormSpinner1* in Texas

  • 00:35-00:40 isnt that the F3?

  • Yes it's an F3 read the descritption. It said yeah there was an F3

  • at 0:53 part ov d cloud luks lyk a face

  • ooooooo love it :D

  • This storm is loaded with lightning!

  • man, this is by far some of the best storm footage ive seen. those look like doomsday clouds.

  • Good footage. I like "Well...close enough for me" and he goes in or quits filming.

  • Nature should get an Oscar for that show! You should be nominated for photography! That is some crazy lightning action, there! No waitng around for more.

  • not surprised a tornado was a couple miles away. that is one wicked storm. we get some pretty severe ones here in ohio when it gets muggy during the summer, one minute it will be sunny and the next minute there are black clouds on the horizon.

  • Oh yeah..i've been in Cincinatti..well...Newport on the Levee...(right across the Ohio river) staring at Cincinatti..sunny one minute...went to get some food came back and sure enough...ominous black clouds on the horizon..freaky..but i loved it

  • rather nasty one, if you ask me. beautiful footage, btw, you seemed to be in just the right spot to catch this ones bad side. great vid!

  • Wow! This is so cool...I wish we could have storms like this in California. At the most, we get heavy rain.

  • Excellent lightning video, Joe 1/8/77...at 7pm darkness before 830pm sunset... wish I could videotape such lightning here in RI and put onto Youtube...actually I do have some videos on Youtube from 8/13/07 and 10/11/07...hope to GET more on here...

  • awsome video i like severe weather.

  • Awesome video i like severe weather.

  • I remember a storm like that when i used to live

in northern wisconsin. It was late at night, my family was asleep, I was the only one up. I went

to go outside and suddenly the winds started to pick up and i begin to see lighting far away coming in. Winds were about 80 to 90 mph.

We had our lights went out and had some trees down and some house's by me had some damage to

    them.

  • see you know how to record a thunderstorm. All the other people say is "oh crap i just almost got struck by lightning"

  • I'be been recording Tstorms on audiotape since 4/27/73... over 34 years ago and videotaping Tstorms since 6/2/89..over 18 years ago..... and hope to put my older VHS and VHSc videos onto Youtube soon...!!!!

  • lol yeah!

  • You did a good job recording. I am glad your family survives that storm.

  • That was really quite spectacular! Seriously, I don't think I have seen anything as bad as that; only in the movies as they say.

The only time I have ever seen a lightning bolt, in fork lightning here in Britain, was when I was at school one day in 1992, I can still see it in my head.

The vid also reminded me of Guy Fawkes night what we celebrate in Britain, the whole country is turned into a warzone: a lot of people (like the boring gits) stay indoors.

  • 00:35-00:40 isent that the F3? too the left?

  • sweet!

  • its bit broing wdf r u, u can get soked

  • awesome, I like these flashes :-)

for those who like the thunderstorms I've made a video named "night thunderstorm in paris" it's one hour of flashes reduced to 19 seconds (done with video editing)

  • looks like home in the springtime, lol i love that time of the year for that reason, i guess thats a bit strange though :)

  • i love it too not strange at all! :)

  • It works as long as you give them your credit card info.

  • Dude i was in a storm thta had glof ball sized hail um um um 50,000 Lightning strikes per hour!! and 2000 trees knocked down

  • thats one hell of a thunderstorm

  • Looks like the storm that just passed over us at 3am, in Halifax Nova Scotia. I've been hearing it for hours. I averaged about 3000 bolts over 60 minutes. It's still lingering off in the distance.

Watch my channel today... I'll post some of the highlights... It's CRAZY!

  • SO MUCH LIGHTNING

  • saw a storm like that in london ontario the other night

  • This is fantastic storm footage! I'm very impressed with your ability to continue with the video even after the power goes out. I probably would have crapped my pants. Nice work!

  • theres the sugar right behind the honey

  • fuck offf

  • what city was this in cause i live in hutchinson, mn?

  • cool

  • i live in VA and we have been getting tornado watches and warnings a lot lately!

  • where is this storm located

  • hey i go to shoreview community center and ive experianced the storm to but i was in a different place

  • northern tip of Tornado Alley. I live in canada (southern most tip of it) and tornado alley extends upward toward London Ontario, Chatham, Windsor/Essex COunty. I live irght across from detroit. Michigan gets tornado warnings all the time too

  • i leave in london ont can't want for some big Thunderstorms to happen but right now its dead.

  • they get better as the summer passes. like in july i get those afternoon storms out of nowhere all the time. i know u get those in london all the time too lol

  • nice. looks like a supercell almost because of all of the shelf clouds. i should start video taping some storms around my place. i get tornado warnings all the time around my place

  • its lyk the war of the worlds cz u cn barely hear any thunder at the start lol

  • mother fuckerz

  • Absolutely fucking amazing

  • Wow very severe storm, and i agree these are very scary weather events, but somewhat cool to see nature's fury... it's too bad we don't have these as much here, kind of want to experience some severe weather myself :)

  • Try it flying in a plane.

  • I did. A Delta 757 flight from ATL to SAN. We were over 40,000FT lightning struck so close, the fuselage was twising by the air force on the wings up on one, down on the other ..the only announcement we heard was "Ladies & gentlemen, the plane is not being damaged" Scariest flight ever !!!!!!

  • im from australia i live in a city called Newcastle we had a rain storm last friday and it felt like i was in a car wash

  • jeez id be writing my will on that flight. :)

  • Flight? What flight?

  • another poster wrote about a time when he was on a plane and the thing was falling apart, but the captain came over the loudspeaker and said "the plane is not being damaged." THAT flight! LOL

  • We landed in a tornadic storm once. My brother and I were in the very back two seats. It was SAVAGE.

  • scaryyyyy

  • wow....amazing and veautiful...5/5 good job

  • I would hide in the basement for years and shit myself if I was in this position.

  • id be in a fetal position in my basement! good job! ;)

  • holy crap tornadoes and t-storms scare me half 2 death

  • wow, that's one nasty looking gust front, and that storm was really electrified! had an incredible anvil too!

  • beautiful and very scary at the same time. truely amazing to watch.

  • At least you are smart to know when to go inside. I had a storm in Las Vegas that had lightning over my head. Only one did chase me go back into the house. The next one was enough that I heard the crackle before the bolt hit right above the neighborhood. Scary stuff but you have to respect these storms.

  • I'd be going crazy and hiding in the basement if this was near my house. I live in Pennsylvania and almost never get these, yet, i am like tornaphobic.

  • tornaphobic....LOL awesome. same here, but on nights where they are just under bad enough to get a torny, we do what every other pennsylvanian does...we go outside and watch the show!!! ;-)

  • You're so lucky - I live on the coast in California & we have thunderstorms once in a blue moon.

I grew up in the Midwest & I miss them so much.

Thank you so much for posting this!!

  • i luv t-storms!!!

  • i wish i were there >< O

  • Very nice!

I live in the SF Bay Area. We just pretend to have storms. ;-)

  • this is so cool right now my area is in thunderstorm season , my sisters are scared to hell but im really excited, the thunderstorm yesterday was loud and cool!

  • yeah i agree with Korky122. i love really bad storms, but i would freak out majorly if there was a tornado. thats one of my biggest fears, is being in a tornado.

  • Perfect!!!!!

  • this was in Minnesota WOW mean OMG i love thunder storms

  • You wont believe the storms we can get here in late spring, summer and we have had severe storms go into early october

  • i would love to see one of them that bad. no tornado though.

  • dammmmmmm thats nasty

  • I can't wait for the thunderstorm season...
