@Probablyacowtbh I don't know if you saw the Leith video (Owen Hand...) but that was the dreary day before. Today the sunshine streams in through my window!
I'm honoured to have the scenery compared to The Highlands :)
@jerrygreg2 Same country, different surroundings I'd say. The highlands feel more "desolate" to me, especially during winter (though it can look stunningly beautiful for a while).
And uhh, just outta curiosity, I don't suppose you know of any secluded "walks" near Edinburgh? We're planning on moving down there with the family in tow, plus 2 Scotties.
The buggers are mental (Scotties) but it's nice to be able to let them off the leash.
@Probablyacowtbh Hi Jürgen. The last part of this video is on the Dalmeny Estate. It's one of the quietest walks I know. The reason being, there's no bridge over the Almond for over a mile upstream and the road on the west bank is for authorised vehicles only. From Eagle Rock, it's c 4½m to S Queensferry. There're woodland walks and nice beaches which stretch out for a mile at low tide. The best place to spot other dogs/humans! I'll try other quiet walks too.Handy to have o/s Edinburgh Explorer map
@LadyGreyCarolyn Thanks Paola, I'll take pictures further along the coast until I reach The Forth Bridges. Your Turin video is beautiful too. The Po is truly majestic flowing through the "little bull". Spectacular!

I do love Ms. Laura Risk.... I understand why Alasdair would write a tune for such a beautiful, amazing woman.

Ach christ, how many days of sunshine have you had over there? Consider me jealous, regardless.
Must admit though, Edinburgh and it's outskirts area look very similar to the highlands, overall.
