i dont like colourd rocks, they tend to lose there colour and its not good for the fish.. do green terror's get more aggressive if there left alone?

I'm thinking I'll buy cichlid sticks or pellets 2moro and maybe bloodworms, what would u say??

@sean91LFC when i first got my green terror, i fed him flakes and bloodworms, then just within a few days i slowly started feeding him pellets. but try to feed him more pellets than live food because you dont want him to  just ignore pellets.

i been have n this problem with my GT i have 1 2" jag 2 green terror 11/2" the other about 3" then i have 2 jack dempsey 1 about 2" the other 3" my problem is the1 i got the smallest green terror like 2months before any of the other fish at first he was eating grate but now he runs from the food like hes scard weather wet or dry all the fish have out grown him n the last month n a half do you know of ne thing i cld do to get him to eat pls let me know wht you think pls and thank u

@krazymagic i sold the smaller one..kept the female that thought was a girl..they paired an bred a few times..sold the pair..then the babies and finally the tank..i got rid of the whole thing =( i regret it..my new place is too small that why i had to part with it..and i got into breeding pythons..but ill get a pair of GT's soon one day..

Some nice lookin gt's man. I have an oscar and a jack dempsey who are about 2 inches and i'm thinking of puttin in a gt. Is that a bad idea? I hear these gt's are pretty agrresive. My oscar rocks he's pretty chill untill it comes time to feed.

That male is really nice. Makes me want another GT. Mine was a headbanger. He would try to attack anybody who walked in the room. That was the meanest fish I ever owned. Even my Red Devil is not mean as he was.

well at that size it can be hard to tell but not impossible if it has long flowing fins, colorful, or has a hump its male but somtimes the males lack some of those characteristics

i breed these the female will flare up at the male when she has eggs even if he does fertilize them she will still act like that. the male patrols the tank and will somewhat protect the female until he wants to mate again and can harm the female badly. one bad thing is after breeding them i was stuck with over 90 3 inch fish...

Sell them to ur local fish store, for some store credit. As long as you can prove that they are full blooded Green Terrors, you should have no problem. Just show the manager photos of the parents. Once they see that the parents they would usually work out a deal with you.

Hello. I have 2 small green terrors in a 55 gallon tank and they are about 1.5-2.5 inches. One is light with little color and the other is dark with little color. I have been feeding them all kinds of foods. The tank is healthy. I want to know when they will start growing more color because right now they arnt showing much.

I love how he stares you down while you're filming this. Does he attack your hand when you are in the tank doing maintenance. I used to have a male gt much smaller than this one and he would grab hold of my hand and shake has head. They are fearless when protecting their mate. Good luck breeding them. if you want crystal water...you need to drain about 20% of your tank water every week....i have 8 fish in my 55, they are all babies to of them are GT, the second thing is change your filters once a month. i will post my soon so you can see how minds look
