3:07...that horse. fell in love with that exact horse when i was down there. He visited our car garage every day and if he saw me in the yard he would walk right up and sniff me and nuzzle me. Hes a beautiful stallion. later in the week he visited and was covered in deep, swollen, bloody wounds and stood with me for a long while. i hope hes okay, i miss him.
they do. without exposure, there would be no tourist economy and therefore would not be govermental funding to support a department specifically for the preservation of this breed. Google. its a beautiful thing.
Actually, you are REALLY REALLY not allowed to pet them, much less feed them. The officials will BOOT you if they find you doing so and can give you a ticket. It is bad to teach the horses to rely on humans for food, and it's bad to teach the humans they can do this (humans are lame and will feed horses crap like cupcakes).
I watch this about once a day, it just takes me to this real good place in my heart. Been around horses all my life, understand and know them well. FAMILY is very important to them. Thus your family and their family seen together sharing life. It's very meaningful to me, of peace, love, family and creation having the goodness of life together.
Great video. Horses, no matter where they are, are just beautiful to see. This is an especially unique place; good to see the horses playing in the surf. Thanks so much for posting. Good job.
Thats good you recognize respect is why you were awarded with that great experience. They are the locals not us. It doesn't get much better than that, except watching them run while riding a nice glassy wave off shore. Just
Did you really see those horses?? I was up at Corolla cause my Grand-parents own a combo in Kitty Hawk and I made them take me up there cause I wanted to see the horses but I couldn't see any ;_;
Yes. They were magnificent. They ruled the beach -it was theirs. I'm not used to how insignificant they treated me. No eye contact, no respect. You had to respect THEM. It was an awesome experience.
Those are beautiful shots.
Thank you for sharing them with us.
