OMG You have ruined a piece of art you piece of shit! You took away a lot of the meaning and symbolism that the end of the film had. I hope you are happy with yourself. Remove this video immediately
I think the deep, deep preppy-ness of Vampire Weekend works with the overall themes of The Royal Tenebaums, but I think this song is too upbeat for the closing of the film, though I DO think it definitely work in the film at some point :). Great vid though.
Great song and great band but nothing can capture the beauty of "Everyone" as it's used in the original. It just has that kind of "celebration of life" thing going on. I love Vampire Weekend--they're very Mark Mothersbaugh-y often times. This would work better in Rushmore, I think. So much of their debut seems like it's channeling Max Fischer.

van morrison was perfect, i see the desire to change it from a personal perspective but 'everyone' was perfect

This song doesnt work. The ending loses all meaning. Van the Man worked perfectly.

Vampire Weekend are great but the song doesn't fit on the end of this movie. I would say m79 would be more suitable.

Maybe to loud for this ending. Would work if I didn't know the real song to it.
