I had to check your youtube channel to see why you were so incredulous. This isn't a Pond Sand Filter for your garden. PSF (Pond Sand Filter) is the name in this part of the world for a water purification system that turns pond water into DRINKING WATER for people in rural village.
If I was fundraising by PayPal to decorate my backyard, that would be a completely different (and definitely ridicule-worthy) issue.

how much does this one cost as opposed to the deep tube? Could you pay for one of these and an extra filter for later? or would that cost too much? And how long are you planning to stay in bangledesh? Would you be able to come back in 2 years to buy a new filter?

hey kisablackrose - I actually home right now just visiting the family for a bit. I'm not sure how long I'm doing this project - so not sure where I will be two years down the road..
I accept donations by PayPal - that's the best for me and its also super easy. Although it does take a cut from the donations...
