Not a hoax or joke. I just watched "I'm Still Here", the documentary of Jacquin's recent life. It's very sad. It would be brilliant if Jacquin were in character during this interview as part of the whole act but I doubt someone would project himself with such a horrid image to the public for two years just to put a film together.

This whole thing reminds me of the stunts Andy Kaufman use to pull. Perhaps Mr. phoenix has simply become tired of his life has enough money and wants to trick A LOT of people. He was on peoples radars for being an actor but got even more notice when he pulled his Letterman act. I think the whole thing is brilliant and if he is serious then leave the poor guy alone the mind is a fragile thing and perhaps hip hop will make him truly happy.

i don't see how this interview is bad. To me he just seems funny (funny 'haha', not wierd). I think people are just looking for an excuse to say that he's insane or fucked up, just 'cos he's a little different/ non conformist. I'm not even a big fan of his and i've only ever seen him in Gladiator, so this is a totally unbiased opinion.
Unless of course I just have a high tolerance of drunk/stoned people. :/ But i'm guessing it's just everyone jumping on the bandwagon again.

He had issues and he was making horrible decisions. I was also very sad when he died, but you can't go around making threats against people online. @sexykeishaxxx River had multiple drugs in his system. His friends and family have all said that he was still using. I know that the final dose did him in, and that is horrible, but he was an addict. It's a terrible disease that takes too many people. As far as you mentioning Joaquin, he is doing fine. Look him up. He even has 2 new videos here on youtube, where he is working with TWLOHA and Peta. Hopefully his documentary will explain his odd behavior last year.
