Actually I think when she was taking her cloths off she was trying to act crazy enough the state would be forced to step in so she didn't have to take the risk of directly defying the cult. It's not a lie Scientology did sue the medical examiner, Joan Wood, and they put an extreme amount of pressure on her. After the McPherson Case Wood retired, and went into hiding. She told the governor that "the stress and physical toll have become more than I can handle." Her credibility as a medical examiner was destroyed because she changed her ruling on the McPherson case.

Concerning Lisa McPherson, based on a state's medical examiner's preliminary cause of death, Scientology was accused of two felony charges. The charges were dropped after the examiner changed the cause of death from "undetermined" to an "accident".

Result? Sci was judged innocent. Go protest the courts.
