@Suprnovo3 I meant compatibility. PCI-e 1.0 and 1.1 spec doesn't allow for as much power as PCI-e 2.0 and the up coming 3.0 revision. Clock speed can be "regained" through overclocking or by using non-reference cards.

Also, the Radeon HD 6990 has absolutely decimated all current GPUs. It's faster than GTX 570 SLI while consuming less power and less space in your case.
The 590 has had its frequency lowered a lot to be able to consume a decent amount of power. It should be about as fast as a GTX 560 Ti SLI given the specs.
