  • Florida here! wouldn't ya know in these commercials the "biker" is always wearing a helmet and other protective attire. Problem is that at least HERE most of these shitheads ride around with nothing more than a bandanna on their stupid fucking heads. I have an SUV with a steel frame, reinforced side panels, multiple air bags, seat belts and numerous signaling devices but if a cop sees ME not wearing a belt I get a ticket?! Assholes, ...YOU watch out for ME. G'nite and fuck you, WANNABE "bikers"

  • @JeevesReturns - And, yeah, assfucks, I've been riding for 30 years and currently ride a 1972 HARLEY SHOVELHEAD that looks like shit, but runs solid, has it's history with other Brothers and, no, I don't wear any of those faggot shirts worn by lawyer-weekend-wannabes. Just my colors. I have pride and history, not something to prove.

  • @JeevesReturns YOuve been riding for 30 years? And learned nothing? Dude you're just an angry 50+ year old midlife crisis suffering, trying to get his youth back motherfucker. And I bet you've never even been out of Florida.

  • I've ridden many thousands of miles over the last 40 years, without a single accident. That includes several cross country trips (twice in icy winters), the autobahns of Germany, the backwards roads of England, crowded city streets, and more. I don't blame that success on car drivers, any more than I'd blame the opposite on them. I'm solely responsible for what happens when I climb onto a motorcycle. When riding in a responsible and properly defensive manner, there will not be accidents.

  • @stewartx5 ever been to spain? You'd change your opinion, trust me.

  • @masterknaster

Yes, I have been to Spain. In fact, have vacationed there several times. Traffic behavior was not any worse then some of the other locations I've visited. Rome (Italy) was the absolute worst I've experienced, followed by Los Angeles.

  • @stewartx5 And you didn't get killed? Shit... Cars have run me over several times and I'm always on the lookout for crazy drivers and it still happens.

  • @masterknaster

LOL. No, not killed yet. I assume everyone (drivers, cyclists, pedestrians, etc) will do the opposite of what they should. If they should stop, they'll go. If they should go straight, they'll turn. If they should stay on sidewalk, they'll walk into street. If they don't, great, but I'm prepared if they do. Requires practice. Learn to anticipate and react quick. Practice stopping quick, turning quick to avoid, and so on. After that, like stunt riding, it's actually kind of fun.

  • @stewartx5 Well I've learned to avoid and anticipate stupid actions by other people, but what are you supposed to do if you brake and a car just slams into you...

Anyway riding through cities is never as much fun as some deserted mountain road...

  • I had a car run a stop sign in front of me, once. I ended up flyin 40 ft through the air, landing on the back of my helmet remarkably receiving just a small concusion. A friend of mine had a driver do a u turn in front of him causing major, major injuries...and another lost his life from an accident just like this one...these days I ride with my bird finger on the front brake lever at all times and I assume that every car is going to pull in front of me no matter what...TRUST NO ONE!

  • All the people flaming bikers should know that bikers are alreay as alert as they can be, because they know car drivers aren't. Its time for people in their cages to pay attention in traffic.

  • @masterknaster - "...flaming bikers...."? Yeah..., the 80's want their expressions back and your father wants his bong back. Hey, wannabe, 'Bikers' are members of decades old vetted and respected national and international clubs. YOU are some stupid turd who thought the whole idea was cool and you could validate your imaginary masculinity by stopping into a local dealership and buying some off the line piece of shit and score a free black t-shirt in the deal. You make us sick.

  • @JeevesReturns WTF are you talking about? You are fucking ridiculous. You don't need to be part of a club to be a biker... Btw I didn't get a free black T-Shirt... maybe because i didn't buy a Harley...

You really need to gett off the internet and chill out.

  • As a biker .. I like the commercial for it's shock value, but JacktheSmack is 100%. Neither of the crashes I've been in were 'my fault'. The first time 20 years ago i could have simply been paying more attention. The last one was just a year ago, and a simple change in lane position would have prevented it. Sadly, most people that drive cars are selfish morons .. bikers have to be far more aware until that changes. Cars survive fender benders .. bikers don't.

  • LOL. If you look down the roadway at 0:05 just as the automobile starts to turn, you'll see no motorcycle (or any other vehicle) in the approaching lane. Therefore, with no vehicles approaching, it was entirely reasonable and prudent for the vehicle operator to commence the turn. The motorcycle rider had to be hauling ass (seriously speeding) to cover that distance to strike the car in the passenger door.

  • @stewartx5 Yes because they added him by CGI to make a point. Even if you think it is clear, you need to double check for bikes so you dont inadvertantly hit one. An old lady did that to me on the 27th, just got out of the hospital.

  • this video sucks, the one done by ThinkUK is a lot better, this video makes it look cheesy, its not serious enough.... if you want a link to the vid send me a pm, and ill find it, i think it may even be in my fav's if you want to see it, Cagers please look for bikes, and bikes, play cube runner so you can dodge better :)

  • well, since the car is turning, he should have waited until the bike was gone. obviously it is about being aware of oncoming traffic. if the bike was traveling at the speed limit, it would have been obvious that he shouldnt have pulled out.

  • Oh I'm dumb. I thought this staged was at an intersection with a stop sign and the scooter ran the sign.

  • Erm the car is turning so the bike has priority. The car driver is meant to wait for him, so the biker carries on, then he pulls out in front of him. Basically he wasn't looking and wasn't obeying the rules of the road.

  • Try getting your license first kid and maybe then you'll understand how the rules of the road work.

  • Now all we need is a "Car Awareness Month" where motorcycle riders are reminded of the dangers they pose to others on the roadway as those riders speed around like madmen.

Before anyone rants, I'm a motorcyclist. However, since speeding & reckless driving poses a risk to me as well (on my bike or in my vehicle), even I'm a little tired of poor riding choices made my many cyclists.

  • Agreed, there are a worrying number of "hero" idiots who ride like they're desperate to die and hurt others, and give us good riders a bad reputation and raise our insurance premiums. I'm a biker and frequently have the desire to run the tw*ts off the road.
