  • at the end of the book anna dies, all of jodi's books end like that, they win the battle then the main character dies

  • thas not the freaking ending!!!!!

  • The book was amazing. I read it, and I could barely tare myself away from it. Can't wait to see the movie

  • @BarnBabes4ever same i am reading it for language arts and all i wanna do is read

  • they didnt just change the ending in the film but took out ALL of the interesting parts. left out campbell and his plot, the aunts storyline although she did feature a lot in the film she was just periphery. the family dynamic seemed too cheesy and cliche. had no sense of realness. it felt soo hollywoodised and it lacked a lot of additions like Anna's hockey jesse's self destructive behaviour. they extended the kate and her bf scene a lot which kinda worked just not at the expense of the rest

  • @razmataz13drums thats not even the real Znna talking dont u ppl get its FAKE

  • @KissKissTheCavy4677 i have no idea what you just said but i was just talking about the differences between the film and the book i wasnt talking about this vid at all :)

  • @KissKissTheCavy4677 i said that its not the feal Ana from the movie/book by Jodi Picoult, sorry for typos, my laptop keyboard sticks a little, and i was talking about the booj, and the movie

  • Wow. This is the most powerful, beautiful video I've ever seen it. I can't believe a senior in high school could create such a masterpiece. Where is the Academy?

  • aww no offensive but I didnt no that campbell and julia gets married! I'm nt there yet :(

  • anna dies in a car accident after the trial with cambell driving, shes brain dead. They pull her plug and her organs and such are donated thats how kate lives. the movie is kinda less sadder

  • omg i got to read this book because i just watch the movie it was great but i didnt like the ending

  • Compared to the book of My Sister's Keeper which is fantastic, in my opinion, the movie totally sucked.

  • her books are amazing<3

I read Mercy, My Sister's Keeper, & Vanishing Acts.

Right now I'm reading The Pact! :)

  • @kyraadarling the pact is really good now

  • I love this book, and you read it really well, i just hated the pausin in it xx

  • Ahh..anybody knows actural ending??

  • u two r both wrong i just finished anna didnt respond so they turned off her machine to help her brath and they gave annas kidney to kate. Anna died because off the car crash and cambell survied

  • SPOILER!-----Okay in the book Anna gets into a car accident after the trial, and she dies. They gave her kidney to Kate, and Kate survived...

In the Movie...Anna survives, and Kate dies.

  • @Moonfrost1

Oh my God, they changed that?!?! They totally fucked up the story!

  • I know! It sucks!

  • ikr! they screwed it up!

I told my mom and were not even watching the movie!

  • What the fuck?

  • who dies????????????and wht happens????

  • Its different, the book and movie ending is different. do you want the book ending or the movie ending?

  • @justdance8888 read the book you lazy ass

  • like what is the ending???anna doesnt save her sister????

  • anna died in a car accident.... and she saved her sister

  • in the book.... there was a car accident.... in the movie kate dies....

  • obviously you didn't read the book because that's the movie ending. the real ending is totally different duh

  • I KNOW IT IS THE MOVIE ENDING! I know that an accident happens with Anna and she dies and Kate gets her kidney; and yes I read the book, if I said I did.. its because I did; and I was answering to takunk saying the end of the movie.. so see if you read the first comments before you rite down stupid things!

  • agreed.

  • I was answering to takwunk about the real ending (from the movie) . get a life -.-

  • It's different in the book and movie

  • in the book anna dies

    in da movie kate dies

  • and that is really stupid!

  • how come it doesnt show when she diesss this movie is so sad my sis told me!!

  • she dies its sooo sad! i cried through most parts of it!

  • how does the movie end?

  • kate dies

  • no she doesnt

  • yeaaa in the movie she does not the book- anna in the book- the question was how does the MOVIE end

  • this is what i read on her web site:

TO ALL MY FANS WHO Saw THE MOVIE:

Yes, I know the ending is different. Yes, I know some of you are very upset. I didnt change it. The author has no control over the movie, and it was hard for me to accept too. However, theres a great deal in the movie that I think is great, and I enjoyed watching it - and I hope you did too. Please dont email me asking me why I changed the ending, or let Hollywood do that - it wasnt something I had any control over.

  • i just saw the movie it is good but some things are different and the ending is different but it was still a good movie. i still cried.

  • The book Don't Die, My love would be a great movie.

Somewhere I heard that the ending to the movie is different from the book

  • the ending is different from the book... i read it on wiki. :( they shouldnt of done that though... they should of kept it lyk the book even though i cried for hours after reading it

  • Me too! I just put the book down and CRIED :(

It was so sad and unexpected :/

  • exactly its too upsetting... the movie has a nicer, happily ending (kinda edge to it) it would of been to sad if Anna died in the movie!!

  • OH MY GOD! I love the book Don't Die My Love, it's my FAVORITE book.

  • me too. It's sooo amazing. I could read it more than once. I was rereading part of it the other day and was getting so into it as if it was the first time i ever read it.

  • i know this sounds stupid but im actually afraid to watch this movie because i know how much i will cry. :(

  • this was great!!!

    awesome job

  • a change of heart would ba a good movie too.

  • this makes me cry..

  • keeping faith is a great book! i hope they will make a movie about it too!

  • I wanted to see the film version at first but now I don't because I heard they are going to change the ending which will ruin everything. That will probably treat it like a family movie. It wasn't like that. It was deep. Jodi Picoult said that the ending provided a message. If they change the ending, there will be no message!

  • best novel ever

honestly.. amazingly written.. but the cast is completely wrong for this book, and when kate says the epilogue.. its to meaningless.. i cried for hours on this book.. i have a feeling the movie will be a disappointment,

  • I totally agree..I though about what happened in this book for DAYS. I don't understand how books like Twilight come such a long way. My Sisters Keeper has got to be my favorite book. The cast IS totally wrong.

  • I agree. Twilight's good as a guilty pleasure, but books like this are too amazing and deserve much more credit. I guess people are just dumb. <_<

  • i have the same feeling...i'm annoyed, and i don't think Cameron Diaz is deep enough to pull off Sara's character.

  • this is the saddest book ever. i cry every time i read kate's epilogue. it's a masterpeice.

  • oh my gosh this is the best book ever!! it was so sad, i cried so hard at the ending Anna shouldn't have died that was just so wrong

  • anna dies...

  • i've just started reading jodi picoult, and i love her books!

    So far, i've read

    Nineteen minutes and Vanishing acts!

atm, im reading my sister's keeper. So many rumors i've heard of the ending to this story. Does Kate kill Anna so she doesnt have to help her with the treatment anymore ? or does Anna kill kate so she doesnt do the treament anymore ? Please post backk

    much love,

  • anna does die, but keep reading and you'll see how that happens since it's a great twist and interesting part of the plot line!

  • @whatsheknowsaboutyou: Anna doesn't die, Kate does. Anna fights for the rights of her body, but Kate told her that she wanted to die. It's really sad!

  • @SnuNeonCookies thats what happens in the stupid movie if you had decided not to be a lazy ass and actually read the book, you know the thing with words written in it, instead of just watching the lame ass movie then you would know that instead of throwing a stupid expected ending jodi picoult threw a curve ball because that what great writers do but you wouldn't know that because you apparently cant be bothered to read the book

    moron

  • @dalmationgirl42 how do u no what happens in the movie? i thought only 'lazy ass' people watch the movie :)

  • i want to read nineteen minutes! read the pact that was like my favourite!

  • Nineteen minutes is REALLY good!

  • yea i read it totally one of my favourites! should be made into a movie!

  • yeah it should :) but they would probably mess it up the way it looks like they're going to with my sister's keeper

  • Nineteen minutes is not my favorite Picoult book (but I did like it) but it should be made into a movie.

  • it's not my favorite either...my favorite book by her is probably ""perfect match". Or my sister's keeper. What's yours?

  • My favorite is My Sister's Keeper and my second favorite is Salem Falls.

  • same...:)

  • You need....NEED...to read Plain Truth or Keeping Faith, they're the best!!!

  • good job I am going to re read this book soon!

  • thanks! it really is a great book!

  • @whatsheknowsaboutyou I know lol I read the book when I was 11 and the ending I remember the most

  • @TwilightEdwardBella1 the ending in the book is soooo different! just so you know!

  • OMG Jodi Picoult is the best Author in the world. her books give so much emotion and feeling.

i have read my sisters keeper 3 times and i am about to start it fot the fourth time and i still cry every time.

  • you pause too much

  • Yeah, at the wrong moments. You're supposed to pause when there are punctuation marks, not in between all the time

  • I was crying when I finished the book too. It was amzing but so sad.

  • This is such an incredible novel. So engrossing. It left me in tears, felt sorry for Anna. I read it for the 1st time and just finished it, and I keep thinking about the ending, so sad. Jodi is such a great author.

  • hands up who else was in tears at the end of the book?

  • Ive just finished the book for the 2nd time, and I cried like I did in the 1st time...Jodi's books are awesome...

  • omg this was such a good book and it was the first 1 i read from Jodi Picoult but i culdnt put it down it took me bout 8 hrs 2 finish

  • I loved this book....this was the first book I read from Jodi and I loved i finished reading it on my was back froma trip and was crying and everyone was looking at me.....but I didn't care I was sad....

  • Last year I had this as my Serious Prose piece for Speech team....

((It was funny 'cuz another girl had the exact same piece))

I loved the book. it was the first Jodi Picoult book I ever read.

  • Why'd you skip the part where she says she can feel Anna's blood and her kidney or whatever it is she says?

  • this was for a school project; i had to make it appropriate for public viewing in a Pg-13 manner

  • u did really good on this video

  • i just finished it... im crying now... OMG y is it so sad

  • I´ve just read the last lines of the book (in German) and I can´t understand why it had to end like this...

  • i kno the stupid mic messed up w/ the vid, so i couldn't do anythin about it!

  • The audio kinda makes akward pauses sometimes. Besides that, it's very good.
