Great way to tie-in your KLR with some local history; thanks for sharing your inside info on the place. It looks like a good spot for some ghost hunters to investigate.
I remember when I went to CV and we would go on nature hikes through the woods behind the primary school. There was a part of a building still left standing and I still remember it to this day because it was solitary and creepy. Now I can't find any photos or information about Woodville.
There are houses built up there where the hospital stood now and the part that this video was taken looks like some trees were cut down around it but no houses were built exactly on this location. I wondered what they were doing with the graves. I used to walk up there with my friends as a kid in the '80s. The Woodville and (Nevillewood) properties were a great place for wildlife. Sadly someone greedy had to turn the properties into realestate for people and kicked the deer out.
My father was the fire marshall before it closed. i am in the process of trying to find the fire truck that was there i think it was a 1968 Dodge Power Wagon 4x4. all i have is the vin number
Hey, I was in Woodville hospital in 1972 or 3. It was a being used as a hostel for immigrants who came to Australia as assisted migrants under the White Australia policy. I'd like to find some photos if anyone has any to post on u tube or the web.
Hello! I have been working on collecting info about Woodville for about 6 mos now. Is there a way I could contact you outside of utube? Thanks for posting the video.
Thanks for posting. I remember voluntering up there when it was still open, and i went to c.v. Then again exploring the abondoned buldings after it closed. very creepy up there, but i enjoyed searching thru the old buildings. I always thought the bell tower bldg. was neat. Do you have any older footage? also, where did you work there?
Thanks for taking the time to film this.

To my knowledge, none of the original buildings are standing.
I spent a lot of time here as a child when my mother's sister was in the hospital. It was a beautiful place.
