I lived there for 2 years in the 70s while my Dad helped set up the railways. You have a very sheltered view but reminded me of all the good bits. Except Bushwa beach which is wonderful. Many happy memories thank you for sharing. "For all its sham,drudgery and broken dreams, it is still a beautiful world." I think you actually had where we lived at 7 hillside aveune in a picture.

I spent a month there in july 2009...fond memories of Takoradi, Earnest hemmingway's pub , the Pub and plantation villas, beautiful place

wow! i cant believe you actually went to Ghana and particularly Takooradi where i grew up.....you make me miss home so much...
